She also has a natural talent for agility! Whether tossing her toys, receiving belly rubs or simply enjoying your company, Ocean's happiness and loyalty know no bounds. Adopt her today!

CRATE TRAINED:  Does not do well in crate HOUSE TRAINED:  Yes GOOD IN CAR:  Yes FUN FACTS: Layla's favorite spot? The couch!! Layla is a very affectionate, loving girl who has been through a great deal - but she's come through shining! She had to have hip surgery upon entering rescue due to being hit by a car, but she's recovered nicely Layla is an adventurist, and she will bolt if given the chance (hence being hit by a car), so she needs someone experienced and dedicated to make sure she doesn't do this - this understanding and commitment is paramount. She will need a 6ft fence to be safe from potential escape, ALWAYS on a leash outside of the fence, and watched at doors. She loves to run and play, flashing her big smile when she's having fun. Layla is possessive of her toys, treats and food with other dogs, so while she's fine with medium to large dogs, this must be understood. She is a bossy female and isn't afraid to put them in their place should they try to take something that's hers. She's a princess who demands her authority. To people she's a dream. She loves to lay beside you and watch tv, go on long walks, and follow you around the house. She does, however, expect her food to be prepared and served ON TIME. That's the rule. Break that rule and you'll be called names. But you can save face by just giving her a kiss or rubbing her belly...her other 2 favorite things. Layla is house trained, doggy door trained, and rides well in the car. She's great at the vet, and is an overall superb gal...not to mention absolutely gorgeous. If you're looking for a buddy for walking, hiking, curling up with for your favorite movie or as your sidekick when you're out and about, Layla is the dog for you.   ##1466211##

Story
Abe is a very friendly, affectionate, adorable boy who loves to snuggle. He's scheduled and crate trained, and would do well in a calm environment. He has had a rough start in life and we're glad that his life turned around for the better since being rescued.Abe is good with some other dogs, especially if they are smaller than him and would also do well with older children. However, a home with no other pets preferred. He is the perfect size and that cute face and those soulful eyes will melt your heart! He is currently in a boarding facility in Augusta, Georgia and we would really love for him to be able to find a loving, forever home where he can get the love and attention that he deserves. Abe's adoption fee has been sponsored by a supporter of our rescue in the hopes of getting him out of boarding and into a forever home so there is no adoption fee. But application, references and home check apply! To inquire about an animal or submit an application visit https://www.hands2paws.org/adopt.html

Story
www.pet-tender.com/adoptionform.htm   Lucky is about as sweet as they come.  She is shy with new people at first but warms up nicely and gets attached quickly.  She just wants to be with her person.  We think she could live with another dog...just has to be the right dog..she can be a little picky.  She is extremely playful at times but then just wants to cuddle at other times.  She is going to make a great companion for someone who just wants to hang with their pup.  She is a bit of an escape artist if left outside...but escapes to be with her person.   We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here. March 18, 2024, 12:23 am
