WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Pacaya - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! I am an athletic little lady from Central America, named for the volcano where I was found. I love to run around having a grand ole time and would make a great companion for an active individual or family that loves to hike or as a jogging pawtner!! Are you training for a 5K and need a running companion? I am your gal!! Are you and your family out hiking and exploring on the weekends? Again, you need to look no further for canine companionship! But, wait, there's more!! I also enjoy sitting on the couch and watching TV with my Hoomans :) Nothing better than a belly rub and an ear scratch after a fun day full of activities! :) I am not overly hyper, anxious, or high strung, I just enjoy the outdoors but I also love my down time with my family!! Sleeping on my doggie bed under the fan sure beats the volcanic rock of my youth! Just a little about my youth; I was born on the side of the Pacaya volcano in Guatemala. One day, a lady from Hay Dude Rescue came to hike the volcano with her family. I introduced myself by doing my "good dog" tricks; sit, shake hands, and don't jump up!! Through lots of red tape (including quarantine) we found ourselves at the Houston airport!! God Bless America!! I am so grateful to be here and for the love, food , and care that I receive...and it shows on my face and my appreciative attitude. At 2 years old and 35ish svelte pounds, I am in the prime of my l life and am seeking my permanent Hooman family. I get along great with all people and dogs and I'm already house trained! I am joy filled at every aspect of life and communicate that joy through my loving nature and accommodating personality. My clear, bright eyes sparkle with intelligence and understanding. I understand a lot of human speak and pay attention to my people and surroundings. If you are looking for an intelligent, fun loving and active companion, I am that gal!!

Noel came from a family that got way over their heads with the number of dogs in their care. With 21 dogs in the house and very few visitors Noel didn't have much exposure to what it means to be a good doggy companion. She has spent the last couple months learning from the pack and is making great progress. She is a beagle, mountain cur mix so all hound. She is 45lbs and about 18 months old. She has a surprisingly deep bark for her size but doesn't bark often. She should be crated at night to avoid accidents. She is slow to trust but very loving once she realizes she isn't going to be hurt. She is good with cats and other dogs, just needs a slow introduction. Adoption Fee: $360. All our dogs are microchipped and up-to-date with age appropriate shots.

    adoption donation : $699 weight 33 lbs  Age: 4 months as of  11/13      The F puppies, Felicity, Freddy, Frankie, and Felix are adorable, friendly and sweet puppies who were dumped on a rural road in Mississippi with no houses in sight, sadly, this is all too common in Mississippi.       But despite their sad beginning  the puppies are happy and thriving. They are Black mouth curs which are just awesome medium sized family dogs, never met one that wasn’t super mellow, and just the most affectionate and easy-going dog. These three boys and one girl are full of sloppy puppy kisses and wiggles and love to romp and play and then snuggle together for a puppy nap.    The F puppies have had vaccinations and are spayed and neutered.    Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Here's what my friends at the shelter have to say about me!: "Napoleon was an owner surrender after he got attacked. I walked by his kennel and he was wagging his tail at me. This boy took treats nicely and leashed up without any problems. Outside he met Jack and they were great together! Two intact males with zero aggression towards each other. He's a sweet gentle boy that needs time to heal. I hope someone can look past his wounds."
