Story
Meet Pong - a charismatic 10-month-old pup who weighs 32 lbs. He is a happy, playful, slightly sassy boy searching for a family to love! While he may need a sprinkle of confidence and a dash of training, Pong promises to bring heaps of joy to any household. Pong is already house-trained and crate-trained. Though Pong prefers a gentle approach and patience with new people he has not met before, he has become best buds with his foster family including his furry siblings. Pong's found a cozy spot in his foster mom's heart, even becoming her trusty work-from-home sidekick. A few of his favorite things include food, treats, and toys; the finer things in life! He is very treat-motivated and especially loves toys that are stuffed with goodies! He knows the command "sit" and is pretty good with “paw”. He loves walks, especially if he can tag-team with his foster pup sibling for a stroll, or for an endless game of chase around the house and yard with her. Throw some treats or toys his way to occupy him, and he'll happily chill in his crate. If you're looking for a spunky companion, then apply to adopt PONG LONESTAR at EHRdogs.org.November 6, 2024, 12:45 pm

Story
Hello Adopters! I’m Zita, a gosh darn super adorable 1.5 year old, 40 lb lady. You look like you need a kiss and I will happily supply many of them once we’ve had time to get to know each other. Good things come to those who wait and I appreciate being given time to warm up to people before I fully trust them but believe me, I’m well worth the wait. Just ask my foster family how much I’ve opened up since being with them. I was recently returned after being with my family since I was a puppy (see my last photo) because I wasn’t getting along with my dog siblings, we had a kerfuffle. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy being around other dogs but it looks like I shouldn’t live with them and would do best as an only dog in the home. But the good news is, I do like cats! My foster home has a bunch but they’re snotty felines who won’t take the time to get to know me. Oh well, their loss. More about adorable me. I enjoy car rides and walk well on the leash. I’d really love a fenced-in backyard where I can safely do my zoomies and sniff every blade of grass to my heart’s content. Loud sounds and fast movements make me nervous and because of this, I would do best in a low-traffic home with adults and older, considerate children only (pre-teen and up) who are respectable of my quirks. The easy things to know about me. I love treats and will do my basic commands for them. I am both crate and house-trained. I’m super affectionate and if allowed I’d love to snuggle with you in bed. I promise I don’t snore but I do hog the covers. I love to play fetch, tug, and randomly gnaw on a good chew toy. My adoption fee is $415, and guess what? I’m all set! I’ve been spayed, got all my important vaccines, and I even have a microchip for extra peace of mind. If you’re searching for a loyal sweetheart to bring some sunshine into your life, look no further, and apply for BAKED ZITA at www.ehrdogs.org — I’m only a tail wag away from being yours!November 6, 2024, 12:45 pm

Story
Meet Marley! A 5-month-old, 37-lb bundle of beauty and charm! With her stunning, super soft chestnut coat sprinkled with brindle and light, amber eyes, Marley’s a natural showstopper, but it’s her sweet, gentle nature that really melts hearts. Marley was born to a stray mom and was lucky to be rescued with her littermates from a tough start. Since that beginning, Marley has blossomed in her foster home into the most lovable little lady. This adorable girl is a mix of playful energy and cozy cuddles. Marley has bursts of wild, athletic zoomies that showcase her graceful moves, but she’s equally happy to snooze on the couch, especially snuggling near her humans, or flop belly-up for some good old-fashioned rubs. She loves other dogs and enjoys spirited play sessions in the yard with her foster pup sibling—and her tail is a nonstop wag machine, showing her love for everyone around her!  Marley has normal puppy quirks and will need continued training, but she is already housetrained, crate-trained, is eager to please, and obedient when given correction. She has a mellow, sensitive temperament with a goofy side that shines as she warms up in new situations. Cheese is her absolute favorite treat! If you’re looking for a loyal and loving companion to brighten your days, Marley just might be your girl! She’s spayed, microchipped, up to date on her vaccines, and her adoption fee is $475. So if you’re ready to bring Marley’s wagging tail and warm snuggles into your life, then apply to adopt this gem, MARLEY LONESTAR, at ehrdogs.org! November 8, 2024, 1:08 am
