Suzie was saved from under a house where she had 14 PUPPIES!! And SHE LOVED EACH AND EVERY ONE!! She was an AMAZING MOMMA!! She took amazing care of her pups and they have all gone on to their FUREVER homes! You can see WHY she deserves a nice soft place to land! She did her work, now it's HER turn to be spoiled for a change! :) Suzie is the sweetest little gumdrop around the block! Her ears are always perked up listening for fun to be had and she always has a smile on her face! Suzie is good with cats, dogs, and children but should be given patient and careful introductions to any and all new family members. Suzie is also crate trained. MEET ROMEO! Are you looking for a dog to be your loyal companion and protector? If so, Romeo is your guy! He is a handsome 6-year-old male Black Mouth Cur, possibly mixed with Boxer. (His shelter paperwork says shepherd-boxer mix). Romeo is a gorgeous, handsome dog who loves to walk, hike and be with his person or people. He would be an awesome companion for someone who loves to hike! He's a great guard dog and can be protective, so would do best in a non-congested area where neighbors aren't a concern. Romeo also has a prey drive, so needs a strong owner. He has done well with other dogs, though has been leash reactive in the past. He's incredibly smart, affectionate, and will attach to his person or people. He is easy to groom, is playful, and loves a good belly rub! This sweet boy can go from a seemingly shy boy to the smiliest lover with just the sound of sweet talk! It was amazing to see him light up when we started talking sweet, he understands that it’s directed at him and it means he is loved and appreciated. He is a petite 39 lbs of calm, dog-friendly, cat-tolerant, peaceful companionship. Aside from the power sweet talk has over him, my favorite thing about Hunter is his contentedness. Whether its out in the yard or in the living room, he is happy to share space with in your company. You don’t need to entertain him and he won’t be pestering you for endless games of catch. This gentle soul can be a touch shy at first, but once he senses your warmth and the sweet talk begins, he opens up to show you his loving nature. With his calm demeanor and quiet disposition, Hunter is going to be a wonderful companion to you and other dogs at home. He is a gentleman in the company of other dogs, showing a playful side while maintaining his cool even when other dogs get a bit pushy.. A home with a calm, friendly companion would be a dream! Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast.
