This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: Princess Age: 6-7 years Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: F Weight: 40 lbs Location: , KINGSTON, ON Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Work in progress House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes, dogs, No Cats, children 10+ Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: None Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Princessa is a lovely lady. She is friendly with most people and older respectful children. Once she gets to know you, she will smile at you when you enter the room and be wiggly. She is learning to be left in her crate and making progress. She does best when exercised first and given a stuffed kong with some special treats. She has learned to walk in willingly, sit to be left out and wait until told okay. She is happy to walk and play. She enjoys fetch and tug and is excited to go on adventures with you. She is also just as happy to to relax and sleep on the couch most of the day. She would fit into most homes, with one walk and day. She gets along very well with most dogs but can reactive to them on leash due to the frustration of not being able to greet and play with all the dogs she sees. We have been working on this and she can now walk past 2 - 3 dogs with no reaction. The more this is worked on with training the better she will get. She has some leash pulling but at only 40 lbs it’s manageable, and she does stop pulling halfway through the walk. Princessa does have a prey drive toward small animals. We have not tested with her small dogs, but she will hyper-fixate on cats. She is learning to leave it an pass and does well with that with respect to cats. She would be fine with a calm dog her own age but no cats. A house with a fenced in yard and older children would be just perfect for her. If you feel you would be the right fit for Princessa, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/ All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed. BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!

PLEASE READ GIA’s BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT SHE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING. PEASE NOTE: GIA IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE OTTAWA, ON AREA We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: GIA Age: 2 years Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Female Weight: 25 lbs Location: Ottawa, ON Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Good House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes - dogs and cats, children Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Gia is a beautiful, spicy little ball of fun energy. Gia loves attention, and to be with her people, she is happy happy and even more happy as she celebrates in a great big way every time she sees you, so if your not into outgoing and goofy this girl isn't for you. Gia would make a fantastic adventure buddy and would really enjoy a person who will spend the time with her to learn the excitement of exploring everything around her. She should be given time ( not rush ) to investigate and enjoy the big world outside.   She is a little firecracker in the home as she gets comfortable quickly, she LOVES to play with toys and will even try to play with or carry around more than one at a time, she throws them and hippy hops around like she just won first place. Her house training is going well, but she doesn't do well with being alone, so a crate is a must. She also needs frequent bathroom breaks, or the odd pee accident will happen, but as long as you get her out on regular walks and give ample opportunities to use the bathroom, she is good. Gia is quite good in the car and walking on the leash. On leash, she behaves beautifully she meets dogs well. She is good with children as well but can get overly excited sometimes with zoomies and jump up, so maybe not super little ones.   Gia is a beautiful, quirky, fun and energetic girl who does the most funny things, she loves a good snuggle and once she loves you she is with you 100%.   Gia is not a couch potato but does enjoy down time...the more excitement going on, the more excited she becomes. She is an awesome little friend who could really excel with the right person... she can bring a smile to your face on the worst of days with her joy of just existing. When she goes out and about, she can be a little unsure at first, but with leadership, she will follow you anywhere... she deserves a person who enjoys celebrating life as well and who has the time to enjoy her. If you feel you would be the right fit for Gia, please fill out an adoption application at https://www.allpawsmatter.ca/apply-to-adopt/ All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate.
