Story
Howdy from Rascal! Upon meeting Rascal you’ll notice he makes an absurd amount of noise - grumbling, grunting, snarling, huffing and puffing, but it makes him unique! He has a lot to say, to anyone who will listen!Rascal’s story is unusual. He was surrendered to us after a fight broke out between the dogs in the home and Rascal was thought to be the instigator. His owner was panicking and wasn’t sure what to do because there was a child in the home and they wanted to be proactive. The humane society had a surrender waitlist, which was not an option, so they decided to surrender Rascal to the pound, knowing he would have to be labeled as “aggressive”, and euthanized, per protocol. However, Rascal has been tested time and again with other dogs and actually seems to love other dogs. Rascal is playful and goofy and loves to be right by your side. He is obsessed with one of our volunteers and has shown that he forms very strong bonds with be people he loves. Rascal isn’t a dog for everybody, but he will make an outstanding companion for the right person. Interested in fostering or adopting Rascal? Let us know!

Hi, I'm Gully and I was really hoping you'd take me home and be my person. I am a really good boy that just wants to find his forever home. I was found as a stray and my owners never came for me. I don't really know why, I was always nice to them. I love all people and I have plenty of spunk to keep you active. I love to play. Do you have a ball? I am not sure if I like other dogs or not, so I'd like to meet any potential siblings, before making a final decision. Will you take me home? The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. Thank you for considering the adoption of a shelter animal in need!
