Chulo is our (very limited vision) sweet Shar-pei mix. Chulo arrived after his owners were arrested and they had no other family to take him, so he was surrendered to the shelter. Chulo deserves a home that loves him and will provide the structure he needs to flourish. He was lucky enough to go into a foster home upon arrival. It was in this home that he showed his true personality of being a total love bug. We don't know if in his first home he was left alone crated for hours on end, but what we do know now is he feels lost when his people aren't near. Due to his inability to see, the interaction with other dogs is hard. In his foster home he had a few incidents with the resident dog; and it was due to this - he had to be returned, so he is currently back at the shelter. Chulo's ideal forever home is an adult home only, with structure and new experiences. There are so many adventures for him to participate in. adoption donation : $699 weight 18 lbs Age: 3 months as of 8/25 Meet our adorable Andy Griffith puppies—Andy, Barney, Thelma Lou, Helen and Aunt Bea—these are adorable, sweet and gentle puppies that were found as strays in a rural town outside of Tupelo Mississippi. W.A.G.S. took them in and the two boys and three girls have thrived, spending their days romping and playing together and then snuggling in a great big puppy pile to nap. The puppies are all fully vaccinated and available to travel from Mississippi to loving homes the weekend after Labor Day. Andy was a little shy at first, but has come out of his shell, now he is just as friendly and active as his sister. He loves toys and bones and get along great with all the dogs at the rescue. Andy is doing well potty training but will need additional guidance while he adjusts to a new home. Like any puppy Andy needs a family dedicated to giving him the structure and training he needs to grow up to be the very good boy we know he can be. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Wags desperately need to raise funds to help the sick and older dogs at the rescue. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. Meet GROVER! Grover is 9 months and 45 lbs. We don't think he's going to get much bigger! We think he's a Black Mouth Cur / Lab mix. Grover is super duper friendly and enjoys playtime with other dogs, like his friend Cookie (also up for adoption with us!). Grover He really enjoys his exercise and is medium to high energy. He would be great with someone who walks a lot or goes hiking! He's also great on a leash. He is ALWAYS HAPPY! He would love nothing more than to hang with you and is very affectionate.
