May came into rescue during COVID with her puppies almost 4 years ago. She has seen so many foster puppies come and go through our barn and continues to patiently wait for her turn for a family of her very own. She is happy here, we walk and explore daily and she is very loved. But y’all she deserves so much more than we can offer her. May is such a sweet girl. She had an absolutely awful start to life but she loves people and loves to be loved. She needs a minute to build trust in new environments and with new people, but she has come SO incredibly far. She would be best as an only dog or would be fine with a pup or non-dominant dog. Please help us help her find the happily ever after she deserves!Her adoption fee is completely sponsored and she’s fully vetted! All we need is the perfect home! She's mastered all basic obedience training thanks to classes with Swift K9 Training. She LOVES people and kids, but would do best in a home with children over 8. She does not mind cats at all and completely ignores them. She loves her crate--it's her safe space. She is great on leash and loves walks. May is about 4.5 years old and weighs 55 pounds. She would do best in a home as an only dog, and needs a quiet, calm environment willing to take things slow to help her adjust to home life. She does LOVE to help foster puppies!
