Applications need to be approved before a meet and greet will be set up for any Fetching Hearts Rescue dogs. Meet Logan!! This sweet boy was found as a stray in Mississippi. He was so skinny and of course was heartworm positive. Once we saw this handsome boys under bite and smile, Fetching Hearts Rescue knew we had to help him. Logan has been treated for Heartworm and is all cleared. He is healthy and happy now. Logan is looking for a family or a person to be his bestie. He loves his humans and loves to cuddle with them. We would recommend older kids just because of his size. He is a big guy who doesn't always know his size. Logan, will is working on his leah walking. He does best in a harness when walking. Logan would love to go to classes with you to learn his commands as he loves to please his humans. He is crate trained and almost 100% housebroken. Logan is a smart cookie. He would love a fenced yard to run around with you and play ball or even go on a hike. He needs to stay busy with his bene bones or other types of bones to chew. Logan will also chill on the couch when he wants to hang out as well. Don't miss out on this handsome boy!!! He deserves his best friends!!! Story
Inari is a 2.5 year old Black Mount Cur mix. She is incredibly affectionate, loving, and cuddly. She loves being with her people. Inari is house, potty, leash, and crate trained. She is non-destructive in the home and can be left alone outside of a crate. We are rehoming Inari because she becomes dominate and aggressive with our older female hound mix. She has been able to peacefully coexists for several months at a time, but can become resource guarding over food, treats, and our attention. A good home for Inari would be one with no other female dogs or dogs smaller than she is (42lbs). She would thrive in a home that keeps her active and provides positive reinforcement. We are highly motivated to find the right home for her and will help with 5 years of food and vet insurance. Additionally, our dog trainer is offering free rehoming training for the right family.

Story
Meet Tank, a charming boy with a heart full of love and a mind full of curiosity. He's got a sweet and friendly nature that makes him a joy to be around. Tank's goofy antics are sure to keep you entertained. His playful and fun-loving spirit is infectious, and he's always up for a walk in the woods or a romp in the park. Tank's combination of smarts, sweetness, and silliness make him a unique companion. Adopting Tank means opening your home to laughter, constant companionship, and unconditional love. He has had a rough time in life, living on the streets then being picked up by someone who kept him for a while only to decide she really didn't want another dog. She took him to the vet for euthanasia. Our vet had pity and decided to give Tank another chance. He was treated for heartworms, vaccinated and neutered while in their care. Please, give Tank a chance to show you just how special he is.

Story
Welcome Petey to CCPAL Foster Program. He is a 6-month old Lab/Black Mouth Cur puppy. He weighs about 45 pounds and is a wonderful puppy. His foster mom has enrolled him in doggy daycare and he is wonderful in daycare. He gets along great with other dogs. He is in foster care with cats and all his time around them is supervised. He has done fine with the cats. He is also a part of a training group and works to learn the basic commands. He is potty trained, good on a leash, doesn’t jump up, knows sit and is good in a crate. This puppy is very well rounded. He naturally bonds deep to his family and may be protective of his family. He is very very friendly to strangers and takes direction easily and well. He has a great attention span. He will make some lucky family a great companion. He would be best with a more active family over a couch potato type. He would be great with another dog or he could go as an only pup. He does love play time with other dogs. He would be a great pup with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states.Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org/ See his cute video.
