Elliott and his sister, Baby Emory, came from a rural shelter in Chesterfield, South Carolina that was affected by the hurricane. The shelter is a scary place for a little puppy, but fortunately they were rescued by K-9 Lifesavers and have landed a nice foster home while they search for their forever family. Could that be you?
Elliott is your typical sweet and friendly puppy. His foster says, "Elliott is smart and very food motivated. He is SO snuggly and loves attention. He will curl up on your lap while you watch TV, it is so sweet. If you are looking for a snuggler than Elliott is the boy for you! He has been playful and gets along great with my two dogs and any other dogs that he has met. Elliott is crate trained and sleeps through the night in his crate with no issues. He is about 90% potty trained and does very well with going to the bathroom outside and alerting you if he needs to go. He is an amazing little guy." At his young age, Elliott is in his prime for training and socialization too. So, what's not to love? K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family. Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
