Story
Updated bio Hi, I'm Lea Lea! My foster mom says I am practically perfect. I'm potty trained, crate trained, good with people and other dogs. I'm great on a leash out for a walk. Outside of chasing the occasional squirrel, wrestling with a friend, going for a ride in the car, I can be  found relaxing. I'm looking for a best friend to share all of my cuddles and love with. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   December 4, 2024, 11:41 am

Story
Meet Tyus! Tyus is a 2 year old, 64 pound, and what we are guessing is a Black Mouth Cur mix who is full of pure love and loyalty. He is a little shy at first but quickly warms up to everyone he has met. He is house-trained, crate trained and good with other dogs of all sizes. He seems to do well with cats and just ignores them. He is learning to leash walk, navigate new place with more confidence and figuring out how to play with toys in his foster home. He is highly treat motivated and wants to please his people. His tail never stops wagging until you go to pet him. Then he closes his eyes and holds very still soaking in all of the attention. If you’re looking for a dog that loves to cuddle, wants to follow you around and is easy to train, Tyus is your guy. Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Pacaya - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! I am an athletic little lady from Central America, named for the volcano where I was found. I love to run around having a grand ole time and would make a great companion for an active individual or family that loves to hike or as a jogging pawtner!! Are you training for a 5K and need a running companion? I am your gal!! Are you and your family out hiking and exploring on the weekends? Again, you need to look no further for canine companionship! But, wait, there's more!! I also enjoy sitting on the couch and watching TV with my Hoomans :) Nothing better than a belly rub and an ear scratch after a fun day full of activities! :) I am not overly hyper, anxious, or high strung, I just enjoy the outdoors but I also love my down time with my family!! Sleeping on my doggie bed under the fan sure beats the volcanic rock of my youth! Just a little about my youth; I was born on the side of the Pacaya volcano in Guatemala. One day, a lady from Hay Dude Rescue came to hike the volcano with her family. I introduced myself by doing my "good dog" tricks; sit, shake hands, and don't jump up!! Through lots of red tape (including quarantine) we found ourselves at the Houston airport!! God Bless America!! I am so grateful to be here and for the love, food , and care that I receive...and it shows on my face and my appreciative attitude. At 2 years old and 35ish svelte pounds, I am in the prime of my l life and am seeking my permanent Hooman family. I get along great with all people and dogs and I'm already house trained! I am joy filled at every aspect of life and communicate that joy through my loving nature and accommodating personality. My clear, bright eyes sparkle with intelligence and understanding. I understand a lot of human speak and pay attention to my people and surroundings. If you are looking for an intelligent, fun loving and active companion, I am that gal!!

Jaxon`s Compatibility:Dogs - Meet & GreetCats - Not for JaxonKids - Yes, 14+Meet Jaxon, a fun-loving and affectionate dog who’s ready to be your best friend! Surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him, Jaxon is eager to start fresh with a family who will appreciate his playful spirit and loving nature. He’s all about cuddles on the couch and will greet you with pure joy every time you walk in the door—expect lots of tail wags, jumps, and face licks! Jaxon is a sweet boy who loves his humans and takes treats ever so gently. This energetic pup is a blast to be around, and while he can get a bit mouthy during play, a simple “no biting” is all it takes for him to settle down and keep the fun going. He’s a little choosy with other dogs, so he’d do best in a home where introductions are done slowly, and he’d be happiest with teens aged 14 and up and no cats. Jaxon is ready to bring his lovable energy and affection to a new home—could it be with you? Come meet him today and let this sweet boy steal your heart!-----Adoption Fees & Benefits:Under 1 year: $2001-4 years: $1005-9 years: $5510+ years: $35Fees include: Heartworm test (age appropriate), vaccinations, flea/tick preventative, complimentary bag of food, wellness exam, and rabies vaccine.Important Notice: A `meet and greet` with any existing dogs in your home is required, supervised by our team in our play areas.
