Meet Hope! Hope is a 2 year old, 40 lb. Black Mouth Cur/Hound mix looking for her forever home. Hope is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She is happiest when she is getting love and attention. Hope does not like to spend long ahours alone an needs someone that is home often. She is curious and has energy and does best with stimulation and activity to keep her happy and busy. Hope does really well on a leash, but also loves chasing balls and playing with other dogs, so a fenced yard is required. Hope has done well around big and small dogs, but does best with another playful dog that can keep up with her energy. She is crate trained and potty trained. Being still an oversized baby, Hope is looking for a home with a person who can spend time with her and help her with some basic training; however, this smart girl already knows "sit" and "paw". Hope has not been around cats in the home, but has ignored cats on walks. Hope needs a home without small children as she is still learning to not jump up when she is excited. Hope is very loyal and protective of her person and needs slow introductions with new people.Hope's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, rabies and DHPP, and microchip. I have had Sophia for 3 years. She was 2 when I got her. She is house trained. I am a single mom with a 3 year old son with autism who doesnt get along well with her and I work full time as a nurse - I just moved into an apartment I dont feel I can meet her needs as well as I used to and I just want her to be happy. She is hard to take on walks in busy areas because she gets rowdy/anxious around other dogs and tries to chase. A private backyard or a less busy area would be good for her. She can get along with other animals if introduced slowly. She tends to be okay with strangers she just gets hyper until she gets to know them. She just needs a family to love her and give her more time and devotion than I could. I love her so much - I hope that someone can love her just as much as I do! She likes to be under the blankets at night (preferably with you!) she loves stuffed animals, and she loves all food and treats. If you dont want her in bed shell settle for blankets or a dog bed!

Cali was given to us by our grand daughter who could no longer care for her. She is a very loving dog she will hug and kiss you all day long if you let her. She gets along well with my grand children but sometimes I have to remind her of her size. She is my husbands dog and they are very very close however he is no longer in the picture. I am disabled and am not able to give her the love and care that she needs. She loves to go on walks and play. I am looking for a loving home for her. I am in the process of selling my home and going to live in a 55+ community and need to find her a good home ASAP. She will be an amazing addition to a loving family!
