LONGEST RESIDENT! Hi! I'm Mustard. I don't know how much you know about Florida curs - but 2/3 of every litter of true Florida Cur Dogs are born with a bobbed tail, just like mine! People seem to love my nubbin wags! Florida Curs are a very special, active, working line dog - I come with a lot of energy, but am also an amazingly fun and silly class clown. If you're looking for an active companion to hike, adventure and train with - I'm your guy! Mustard is a 2-year-old, 58 lb, Black Mouth Cur mix looking for his forever family. He is UTD, neutered, microchipped, house trained, and walks well on leash. He is crate trained, and is not destructive when left loose in the house. Mustard is very energetic and would love a family to cuddle and go on adventures with. He is not good with cats and needs work on his social skills with other dogs but has a lot of potential to do great with them. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body but is A LOT of dog and needs firm boundaries or he plays too rough, for this reason we are recommedning him to an adult only home with handlers who are physically strong and set good boundaries. This adorable girl is an energetic, fun-loving companion with a big personality. She loves to play with stuffed toys and will happily chase ice cubes around the floor for a good time. Although Maple can be a bit nervous in new situations—especially with loud noises or unfamiliar people—she warms up quickly with a little reassurance and affection. If she’s feeling anxious, she’ll seek out a safe spot like under the table, but with a gentle pet and some comforting words, she’s back to her playful self in no time. Maple is a fan of cuddles and snuggling up close, so be prepared for some sweet bonding time! She's also very food motivated and loves her treats, making her a great candidate for training. She’s eager to learn and already knows several commands, so teaching her new tricks will be a breeze. While Maple does well in the car and walks well on a leash (though she may pull when she’s excited to get home), she has a soft spot for indoors.
