Meet Matcha! This goofy, cuddly, fun boy is looking for his forever home! He is a 3-year-old black mouth cur mix and about 40 lbs. He is house trained, crate trained, and has various other assortments of training, including sit, down, place, stay, spin, shake, etc. He loves to play and has lots of energy. Matcha would love to accompany you on runs, car rides, swims, and even skateboarding trips! Squeaky and soft toys are his favorite, but be prepared for them to have just a few weeks of a lifespan. If there is a lap for him to sit on or a bed for him to snuggle in, he will make himself right at home. Personal space is afraid of him, but he will listen with a pout if you need him to leave you alone. This little baby would love some soft blankets to lay on and may need a hug during thunderstorms. He is very playful with other dogs and has been around cats before, but can also be protective of his person and territory. He's the friendliest little boy but a loyal companion who will not let anyone hurt the people he loves. Matcha would do amazing in a house with a yard and he'll love you forever if you also have a swimming pool! At around 6 months old and 45 lbs, this playful girl is ready to find her forever home! She gets along well with kids, cats, and dogs—currently living with two cats, one dog, and a toddler. Her favorite pastime is running around at the dog park, where her energy shines. She is working on her training, and she’s mastered the “sit” command. She’s learning to wait patiently for her food and treats, and she’s making great progress! This sweet girl loves walks and enjoys playing tug-of-war with her rope toy. She’s also a great car companion.  We believe she’s a mix of Black Face Cur, Ridgeback, and possibly Heeler, displaying some fun cattle dog traits but we cannot be sure. She’s very food motivated and we are using a rubber device in her food bowl to help manage her enthusiasm! At night, she sleeps well in her crate and is learning to signal to go outside to use the bathroom.  If you’re looking for an energetic and loving companion, this girl is ready to join your family! ##2183790##

Hi, I'm a 7 month old black mouth cur mix named Jax. My mom rescued me from a mean person who wanted to hurt me and we grew close. Unfortunately our home was destroyed during hurricane milton and we are living on the side of the road. I know my mom loves me but knows that this isn't the life I deserve. She wants me to have a happy life. I love playing with other dogs and going on walks. Still learning the Leash. I'm crate trained and potty trained and will tell you I have to go by going to the door or whining. I love toys and getting treats. I'm not picky with food. I have a lot of energy as I'm still young and I enjoy going for walks and playing in water. I'm loyal, playful, joyful, and full of love.

Meet Hope! Hope is a 1 year old, 40 lb. Black Mouth Cur/Hound mix looking for her forever home. Hope is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She is happiest when she is getting love and attention. Hope does not to spend long ahours alone an needs someone that is home often. She is curious and full of puppy energy and needs stimulation and activity to keep her happy and busy. Hope can walk on a leash, but doesn't enjoy long walks. She does love chasing balls and playing with other dogs, so a fenced yard is required. Hope has done well around big and small dogs, but does best with another playful dog that can keep up with her energy. She is crate trained and is potty trained as long as you keep her on a consistent schedule. Being still an oversized baby, Hope is looking for a home with a person who can spend time with her and teach her puppy manners. Hope has not been around cats in the home, but has ignored cats on walks. Hope needs a home without small children as she is still learning to not jump up when she is excited. Hope is very loyal and protective of her person and needs slow introductions with new people.Hope's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, rabies and DHPP, and microchip. May we all have enjoyed pool time, fun in the sun, chase, and ball and backyard to the degree that left him splayed out like Superman. May we all have someone to snuggle us intimately afterwards - like Phillip has Maxx alum DannyBoy. May everyone have a comfy couch and loving lap on which they can recover and recharge. Phillip couldn’t be more loved and cherished in his foster home. It’s a PERFECT fit for him and we are looking to mimic it in his forever home. He wants a yard in which he can freely run and lazily lounge in the sun. He wants loving and friendly doggie siblings who will play AND snuggle with him. He fits with older kids or children who aren’t loud and crazy. He thrives in a peaceful home where everyone speaks kindly and lovingly to one another. Phillip is a Maxx favorite. He’s big and mushy and well-behaved. He’s charming and charismatic and oh so adorable. He’s truly a dog that SHINES when you meet him - but his brindle, curr-mix, mid-size puppy persona just don’t tend to stand out “on paper”. He’s a five month old puppy who is potty trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash, and is sociable. IT DOES NOT GET BETTER.
