Story
Coda is a brown and black male Black Mouth Cur mix. He is approximately 4 years old. Coda gets along well with adults and children. He is a work in progress with other dogs and we are not sure how he would do with a new furry friend. His favorite things to do is play tug or fetch! Coda has been described as a lap dog, calm but energetic, full of kisses, a jumper, and an all around gentle guy. He is fully potty trained to use a doggie door, but may need some training if transitioning to a new home without one. For more information on how to adopt, please call the shelter to see if this pet is still available for adoption. Then come to the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 10:30-6 Tuesday – Friday and 10:30 – 4 on Saturday (closed 1-2 for lunch and the last Friday of every month).

Story
Lola is a red and black female Black Mouth Cur mix. She is approximately 9 years, 9 months old and has been spayed. Lola does well around adult men and women but is not good around children. She will take time to warm up to new people at first. Lola does not have any other experience with other animals, so we recommend her being the only pet in the home. Her favorite thing to do is to run and play with her toys! Lola has been described as talkative, calm but energetic, full of kisses, and a jumper. She is fully potty trained and is used to going outside every 2-4 hours.

Story
Meet Hope! Hope is a 2 year old, 40 lb. Black Mouth Cur/Hound mix looking for her forever home. Hope is a sweet girl that just wants to be loved. She is happiest when she is getting love and attention. Hope does not like to spend long ahours alone an needs someone that is home often. She is curious and has energy and does best with stimulation and activity to keep her happy and busy. Hope does really well on a leash, but also loves chasing balls and playing with other dogs, so a fenced yard is required. Hope has done well around big and small dogs, but does best with another playful dog that can keep up with her energy. She is crate trained and potty trained. Being still an oversized baby, Hope is looking for a home with a person who can spend time with her and help her with some basic training; however, this smart girl already knows "sit" and "paw". Hope has not been around cats in the home, but has ignored cats on walks. Hope needs a home without small children as she is still learning to not jump up when she is excited. Hope is very loyal and protective of her person and needs slow introductions with new people.Hope's adoption fee is $350 and includes her spay, rabies and DHPP, and microchip. To meet Hope fill out an adoption application at www.pawprinthearts.com.Please NOTE: PPH does not adopt dogs to homes farther than a 1 hour drive from Tampa, FL.December 11, 2024, 12:53 am
