Story
Trooper is about 9-10 years old, possibly older due to him having gray on his muzzle. I had gotten him from my sister who had him for about 5 or 6 years. She originally received him from a couple from Facebook. Loves walks but tends to pull on the leash and will try to run to any dog he sees. Not sure if he's trying to be aggressive towards dogs or just trying to smell them. Wants to run around a lot outside but cant be trusted with an open gate. Has been a bit of a digger in the past but has not dug a hole since he's been with me and my partner. he's not great with smaller kids but he's just fine with kids 10 and older. Has been somewhat territorial over food. Not initially good with dogs but has gotten better when he spends more time with them. He is currently not up to date on shots but he is on flea medication, and has an ear infection that we are treating, and he has been aggressive before but mainly when he's being made to do something he doesn't want to do.

Story
Benji is a 5-year-old medium-sized Black Mouth Cur. He came to us after ending up at a local shelter as a stray, but the shelter was just too stressful for him after a few months. He is a very sweet boy and loves human attention. He is definitely a lap dog and a great snuggler. He is probably dog selective and may do okay with another dog who respects his personal space, but he'd be just as happy as a single dog. He's a great boy who looks to his humans for guidance and direction. If you are interested in Benji, please fill out an application on-line at www.puppyhillfarm.com.Visit us at the Gainesville Petsmart on Archer Rd Saturdays 11 am to 5 pm and Sundays Noon to 5 pm. Story
Chip is a 12-month-old Cur mix and the last of his litter who came to us back in January! He is a very sweet boy and playful, but he is afraid of most men. He loves other dogs and enjoys their company. He is also okay with cats. He is mostly house-trained, but would need to get used to a new schedule and routine. He is timid in new situations and with new people as he is lacking in confidence. He does live with a 9yo child in his foster home, but he does bark at kids in public. He's a little bit of a mess outside of the home, but he's working on it and is such a good boy in his foster home :)Visit us at the Gainesville Petsmart on Archer Rd Saturdays 11 am to 5 pm and Sundays Noon to 5 pm. Story
Meet Mellow! This sweet and affectionate 3-year-old girl is looking for her forever home. We believe she might be a Black Mouth Cur/pitbull mix, but her true breed is a bit of a mystery. What we do know is that she’s full of energy and thrives in a home with plenty of outdoor space to run and play. Mellow is a people-lover and prefers having her humans around. When left alone in a room, she can have accidents, so she’ll need a patient owner willing to work on her training. She’s a quick learner and just needs someone to dedicate time to helping her succeed. Her current family recently welcomed a new baby who required a NICU stay, and they’re unable to give Mellow the attention she deserves. They love her dearly and want her to find a home where she can flourish. Mellow is a cuddle bug at heart and will make a loving, loyal companion. Could you be the one to give her the home she deserves? Reach out to learn more about this sweet girl!

Story
Meet Oswald, a gentle giant with a heart as big as his frame. This lovable fellow is believed to be a fun blend of Rhodesian Ridgeback and Great Dane, though it is his Ridgeback side that shines through most prominently. His coat boasts a striking red sable coloring, a rich blend of reddish- brown with distinctive black-tipped fur and a stunning face mask. Although he is a larger dog, Oswald exudes a certain grace that is a joy to watch. His eyes, large and inquisitive, reflect the kindness and intelligence that radiates from within. Oswald's affectionate nature is undeniable; he's quick to offer love and companionship to anyone and everyone he meets. While Oswald's size and exuberance may require a bit of understanding, especially with smaller children, his amiable nature makes him a wonderful companion for families with prior experience handling larger breeds. This delightful pup enjoys the companionship of other dogs, once they have been properly introduced. He has had some struggles with dog reactivity, but is doing great with training, and will only continue to improve with a consistent, patient, and strong owner. He has not spent much time inside around cats, but is comfortable seeing and walking near them while on outside. When it comes to care, Oswald is fine with a quiet day inside, but also loves to get out, whether it’s the beach or a local walking trail. On walks, he's a model of composure, walking wonderfully on leash and very responsive to corrections. In essence, Oswald is an absolute sweetheart just looking for his forever people. Story
Cane is a smart and sweet little puppy. He loves cuddles, walks, playing outside, and chewing on little bones. He has been so great with our daughters. He knows to potty outside, but as a puppy, still has some accidents if left unattended. We have had him and his sister since they were 8 weeks. Unfortunately, we are having issues with our landlord and unable to keep them. We would love to keep them together, but completely understand taking on two pups is a lot. We would be willing to give Lola to whoever takes Cane, free of charge. As long as they can stay together and will be well taken care of. They have a great bond and love playing together. We have had them both around other dogs, children, and adults. They have had no issues. We just want them both to go to a loving home that has time to take them on walks, play, and watch them grow! We have two packages of puppy pads and a large bag of dog food to get you started as well.
