Story
Rose is a wonderful girl, super friendly to other dogs, cuddly, sweet, smart just an awesome girl. She would love a fenced yard so she could spend hours playing around. She loves a leash walk and does well but a safe fenced yard gives her that freedom of playing ball and sniffing around in case you have rabbits or lizards intruders! Rose is truly a family dog, if you have kids, she will play with them for hours and she is never frazzled by anything. She is also excellent in the house, sleeps in your bed and hangs out quietly. We are dreaming of a loving family for this sweet girl who had rough beginnings but her whole life in front of her. We are located in Palm City, FL and adopt only in our area, Martin county, St Lucie, Indian River and North Palm Beach.

Story
At almost 9 years old, I am full of personality and an amazing blend of mellow and playful traits that make me the perfect companion. I'm a quick learner who loves soaking up the sun, spending quality couch time with my favorite humans, and enjoying my absolute favorite treat—peanut butter! In the home, I'm calm and laid-back, but will light up during playtime, especially when it’s time for a good game of tug. I'm also a fantastic walking buddy, with excellent leash manners and a love for exploring the outdoors. When it comes to other dogs, I get along well as long as my new family can help me feel secure—if another dog gives me a hard time, I will push back. With someone who understands my boundaries, I will be ok with friends and make a loyal and affectionate companion.Martingale Collar; Children 8+ as he does not like them in his face; Joint SupplementsAll of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Story
Hi, I'm Maggie, an adorable Black Mouth Cur mix now over a year old with a heartwarming story to tell. I was rescued from a tough situation as a puppy and found my way to Big Dog Ranch Rescue after facing the scary prospect of being placed on a euthanasia list at a Southern shelter. Can you believe they were going to kill me when I was still only 6 mo. old? Well, Despite my rocky start, my personality is still all about sweetness, affection, and boundless playfulness. I'm a favorite with the other dogs I play with and I love making new friends! I absolutely thrive outdoors. Playtime is my favorite, especially when fun toys are involved! If you want a furry companion who embodies resilience, love, and the pure joy of puppyhood (although I am now more of a toddler) come get me cuz I'm your girl. You can visit me at Big Dog Ranch Rescue and ask to meet me. I'm more than ready to fill your days with joy, laughter, and unforgettable doggy adventures in my new loving forever home.

Story
Hello, I'm Jackson, and my journey began with a life-changing rescue from a Miami animal shelter way back in 2020 so I have been at Big Dog Ranch more than half my life. My heart's greatest wish is to find an adult-only family, where I can embrace the role of a cherished king, savoring every moment of love and attention. To help me become the happiest version of myself, an experienced dog owner who understands my unique quirks would be a dream come true. While I'm mostly laid-back and in my golden years, what truly lights up my day is spending quality time with you. I do have a bit of a vocal side, so don't be surprised if you hear me express myself! Additionally, I seem to have a decent prey drive, making a home without cats the best choice for me. I'm a friendly and sociable soul, always excited to meet new people and welcome visitors with open paws. Will YOU make me an integral part of your life's journey? Don't I deserve MY forever home? Guess what? Big Dog Ranch offers us a FREE training session when you adopt me. Let's get to it!
