Story
Rosie is 57lbs , 1 1/2 yrs old female, spayed. Believed to be Black Mouth Cur . Rosie takes a minute to warm up to strangers as she is a little timid at first. She loves kids , is extremely energetic and playful. Although she loves kids of all ages , bigger kids are recommended due to energy level. She will need a fenced in yard, she loves to be outside and to run around and play outside. She is kennel/crate trained and really enjoys her crate. We are working on leash walking. SHe does fine, but pulls if she sees a squirrel or lizard . Once she trusts you she will want to protect you. SShe is a great guard dog. She does well with other dogs her size or bigger. She is ok with smaller dogs but she does have a big prey drive so we reccomend no small dogs. Not rated with cats . Overall Rosie is very sweet, happy energetic puppy dog that will need time to settle in and gain trust and then she will be your best friend. Would be excellent with active family of older kids that are active and adventurous. Completely UTD shots and will come with everything as she was an owner surrender. Please keep in mind, Rosie is a courtesy post for Wills Way Dog Rescue. She resides in Port Charlotte, FL with another rescue. Foster willing to meet for meet and greets! Hey there! I'm Noel, a Black Mouth Cur girl who's had quite the journey in my short life thus far. Big Dog Ranch rescued me from a kill shelter in South Carolina, and I am so excited and thankful for a new chance at love! I'm eagerly searching for my forever family, and I just know they are out there somewhere. I'm a sweet and loving pup with a moderate energy level, which means I love a good frolic, followed by some loving and relaxing cuddles. I have an independent streak too and at times I just like to relax in my own space. Since I'm pretty good with other dogs, I get to go out in our playgroups to run, play, and have fun. I am loyal and affectionate and love to cozy up and be snuggled. I'm learning to walk on a leash and really enjoy exploring new places.
