Story
Hi there! My name is KoKo Chanel, and I'm a beautiful mix breed with a big personality to match my 65-pound frame! I'm all about love, wiggly affection, and enjoying life to the fullest. While I might be a little rounder than I'd like, I'm working on slimming down with my Foster mom with lots of fun activities and healthy snacks! I'm a pro at home: potty trained, I know the in's / out's of lounging, playing tug of war and the routine of being around humans and going with the flow. I crate up well, love car rides, laying in the sun and snuggling with you. I'm pretty independent and can entertain myself just fine. I'm a friendly gal and the perfect happy family (or solo) companion. I can't wait to embark on many more adventures with you. If you're looking for a loving companion to brighten your days, please come meet me at GCHS! I'd love to be part of your family!

Story
This shy girl came to us by way of Lee County Domestic Animal Services as they were running low on space. We often pull dogs from other shelters the don’t have the luxury of time that we do at ARC. When Larkin came to us, she was diagnosed with Heartworm disease. We spent a great deal of time and money to rid her of this terrible disease. She is now healthy and ready to go to a home! Since Larkin can be shy, it would be best if she could go to a quiet home with a family that could work to slowly bring her out of her shell. Staff has been slowly socializing her with other dogs. She has also been “cat tested” and it appears that she’s even afraid of cats! Do you have the time and love to invest in this sweet, shy pup? Why not come out to meet her today?! My ideal home:I need a quiet, loving home where I can grow more confident and feel secure again...I'm good with:Some Other Dogs Older Children Men Women Birth date June 2017November 2, 2024, 4:32 pm
