Kola is a 7 1/2 year old black mouth cur mix who weighs 54 lbs. She is very affectionate & sweet, a big lap dog. She loves everyone & gets along with dogs of all ages & sizes. Prior to Kola joining our rescue she had 2 small masses removed, 1 came back as mast cell with dirty margins but low grade. Last radiographs were done in September and there were no signs of metastasis. She is currently on a regimen of OTC meds for the mast cell and gets skin flare ups every few months that require Cytopoint injections. She’s spayed, UTD on vaccines & has good bloodwork. Doug is a sweet, friendly young pup to find his forever home! He spent most of his early life outdoors, but hes quickly learning the joys of being part of a loving family. Recently neutered and healthy, Doug has shown a wonderful temperament calm, affectionate, and eager to please. Doug gets along great with other dogs (he currently lives with three males!) and loves to play without showing reactivity or marking. Hes curious about cats but not aggressive, and hes gentle and patient around young kids. Like many young dogs, he still has a bit of playful mouthing, but hes learning quickly with consistent guidance. Doug is mostly potty trained and does best on a regular schedule. Hes working on crate training he eats and sleeps in his crate; and hes also picking up basic obedience skills. Hes an excellent walker on leash; calm, no pulling, just happy to explore by your side. Doug loves chew toys, playing with dogs, and would do well with a family environment.
