Story
She might look built for speed, but Harley enjoys the lazy life. She enjoys a stroll on leash or to hang out with other dogs. Her shyness is overcome with yummy hot dogs. One thing that does liven her up is protecting her yard, so she will be her best with a sturdy, solid fence to avoid this distraction.   ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Aug 2021 ~  Intake Weight:  43# (thin)~  Adoption details/application:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Sonny is a laid back boy looking for a porch to hang out on where he can meet all the neighbors. He is social in a lazy, sit by your side way and not a chat and play way. He also enjoys casual strolls and nice treats. He has a passing interest in other dogs, in the same lazy, just hanging out together with maybe some lazy play kind of way.   ***Our pups don't tell us who their parents are - BREED is a GUESS*** ~  Est DOB:  Apr 2022 ~  Intake Weight:  66# ~  Adoption details:  calhouncountyhs.blogspot.com/p/adopt.htmlNovember 1, 2024, 11:11 pm

Story
Part of the Martinez Litter Amber is a typical young adult dog - playful, energetic, loves to play with other dogs, loves human attention, bashful sometimes and bold other times. Amber may be bonded with her sister Gazelle. I am not qualified to make that determination.

Story
🐾 Meet Nirvana: The Pup Who Finds Joy in Everything! 🐾 Say hello to Nirvana, the most curious and joyful pup we've ever had at the shelter! Nirvana's playful spirit shines through in everything she does, whether she's investigating the mop, her food bucket, pine straw, or even her kennel neighbor—she’s always smiling and having fun! 😄 Nirvana’s zest for life has made her the easiest of her siblings to teach to walk on a leash. While she’s still mastering the art of staying on her own feet (and not yours!), a little reassurance is all she needs to keep going. Meal time is another favorite for Nirvana. While she doesn’t scarf her food down, she’s still figuring out where the treat ends and your fingers begin, so it's best for little fingers to stick to placing her food in her bowl. The good news? Nirvana has no resource guarding issues, making it safe for her to share meal time with other dogs in the home. Nirvana is going to be a big girl—she’s already 30 pounds—so she’ll need a home with plenty of space to grow into! If you’re looking for a joyful, curious companion who will bring endless smiles to your life, Nirvana could be the perfect match. For more information, please message me on Facebook or call/text us at 256-960-1408! 🐕❤️ Euthanasia date: 10/14/24
