Story
🐾 Meet Nirvana: The Pup Who Finds Joy in Everything! 🐾 Say hello to Nirvana, the most curious and joyful pup we've ever had at the shelter! Nirvana's playful spirit shines through in everything she does, whether she's investigating the mop, her food bucket, pine straw, or even her kennel neighbor—she’s always smiling and having fun! 😄 Nirvana’s zest for life has made her the easiest of her siblings to teach to walk on a leash. While she’s still mastering the art of staying on her own feet (and not yours!), a little reassurance is all she needs to keep going. Meal time is another favorite for Nirvana. While she doesn’t scarf her food down, she’s still figuring out where the treat ends and your fingers begin, so it's best for little fingers to stick to placing her food in her bowl. The good news? Nirvana has no resource guarding issues, making it safe for her to share meal time with other dogs in the home. Nirvana is going to be a big girl—she’s already 30 pounds—so she’ll need a home with plenty of space to grow into! If you’re looking for a joyful, curious companion who will bring endless smiles to your life, Nirvana could be the perfect match. For more information, please message me on Facebook or call/text us at 256-960-1408! 🐕❤️ Euthanasia date: 10/14/24

Available for adoption in TX, PNW and NE! Meet Margo, a 6-month-old Black Mouth Cur mix with a heart full of love! At almost 30 pounds, she'll stay on the smaller side, but her personality is big and sweet. Margo is friendly with people and dogs, and while we're unsure about kids or cats, she's a quick learner. She's doing great with leash walking and house training, and loves her two daily walks with her foster brothers, Ace and Dandy. Margo is playful, especially when toys are involved, and she's happy to let you handle her, even during bath time! Though crate training is still a work in progress, she's making steady improvements. She prefers to be close to her family but is gaining confidence to explore on her own. Margo is a smart, joyful girl, learning commands like "sit and "no, and she's always eager to please.
