Story
"Hi, Im Charlia true survivor with a heart of gold. My life changed forever one year on Thanksgiving Day when I was cruelly mistreated on the street along with another dog. But that moment didnt define me, what came next did. I was scooped up, comforted, and given the second chance I deserved. Since then, Ive been safe at Summits Sanctuary, where Ive spent the past six months healing, learning, and waiting patiently for my forever family. Despite everything Ive been through, my spirit shines brighter than ever. Im sweet, playful, and gentle, with soulful eyes that tell my story of survival and a wagging tail that shows my endless hope and love. Ive even been trained by a certified dog trainer, so you can feel confident asking her any questions about me. Im really just a gentle gianta big baby who loves belly rubs, snuggles, and rolling over for scratches any time of day. Ill happily pay you back with kisses and the occasional love nibble, and I promise my affectionate nature will bring joy to your home. I get along great with other dogs, though Im still unsure about cats (but Im willing to try a cat test!). Im heartworm negative, neutered, and up to date on vaccines, so Im ready to walk into my new home today. Six months of waiting is far too long for a boy like me. Im looking for a family who will see the beauty in my strength and the love Im so eager to give. If youve been searching for a loyal, forgiving, and affectionate companion, I might just be your perfect match. Please open your heart and home to meIm ready for my happy ending." https://youtube.com/shorts/kDCt8gd-R3g?si=e-5J2xta1VuTNTjw Adoption Fee: $200 - Includes Fixed, Microchipped & Up to Date on Vaccines Please visit our website www.summitssanctuary.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

Part of the Martinez Litter Amber is a typical young adult dog - playful, energetic, loves to play with other dogs, loves human attention, bashful sometimes and bold other times. Amber may be bonded with her sister Gazelle. I am not qualified to make that determination.

Story
A group of friends and I found him at my work place. I took him to the vet to get checked out and decided to try it out with him. He is now about 3 years old according to the vet. Groot needs an environment where he has plenty of yard to play and run off energy. He is very playful with kids. He has a tendency to be aggressive with dogs his size or bigger. He typically plays well with smaller dogs although Groot isn’t quite aware of how big he is can seem like he’s being rough but he’s not. He just gets over excited when playing. He has a ton of energy, loves to get attention and pets. He loves the outdoors and hanging half his body out the car window. He goes into protective or defense mode when he sees a men in hats. It may take him some time to trust a man. He absolutely loves my dad, but my dad can’t wear a hat around him. He is a great dog, very protective and doesn’t get aggressive with humans unless he feels he needs to.

Story
Meet Ranger Howie, a 8-month old Black Mouth Cur mix with the brains and heart of a future top recruit. This brave little soldier had a rough start, but he’s making huge strides in his training. Howie has already mastered “sit,” loves to play fetch, and after his puppy zoomies fade, he’s a surprisingly chill and easygoing boy. He’s fearless around horses, unfazed by loud noises, and enjoys weekly “training missions” at doggy daycare where he learns from the best and plays with his fellow recruits. Howie is non-aggressive and even respectful toward cats, though he’s still learning they don’t always want to play. He’s working on potty training, crate training, and basic manners — all part of his journey to becoming a well-trained gentleman. Smart, eager to please, and quick to learn, Howie just needs a patient, loving family to guide him to his full potential. He loves car rides and sits calmly in the back seat like a true professional on patrol. With plenty of toys, playtime, and affection, Ranger Howie will grow into the loyal, dependable companion every family dreams of. Could your home be his next command post? To apply directly for Howie, push the "Apply for Adoption" button. https://www.shelterluv.com/embed/animal/FODS-A-753 All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org.
