Karo is an incredibly sweet senior Hound who LOVES people!!! Which is surprising considering he was locked in a closet for the entirety of his 12 years on this earth. He came to us severely emaciated and was intact with a large testicular tumor and a smaller one as well. We recently had him neutered and that removed which is considered curative by the doctor for Karo-YAY! Karo is VERY sweet but because of his total lack of resources and the incredible amount of neglect he endured his entire 12 years, he will snatch food out of your hand and you can get got if you aren't very careful. Because of this we set food and treats on the floor and are careful to show our hands a lot with him. He does also drink a lot and the vet thinks this is also because of his lack of resources his entire life. We are working on potty training him because he was used to just going where he slept in the closet for his lifetime.  While intact he did not seem to like other intact, or possibly all, male dogs. We were only able to test with a senior intact male where he is now. He did seem perfectly fine with the higher energy smaller female dogs that played rough around him though! He also can be vocal when you leave him because he was so starved for attention the first 12 years of his life.March 11, 2025, 12:49 pm

Meet Bubbles! This bodacious beauty is barking for a new family. Bubbles is a sweet young hound mix with an estimated birthday of 01/01/2024, weighing in around 50lbs. If you need a little sunshine in your life, look no further. Just look at that smile! Bubbles has never known a bad day in her time with us, every day is an adventure and a joy with her! Bubbles is playful and affectionate, and will never fail to put a smile on your face. Bubbles is like a cool glass of lemonade on a sunny day, and a warm cozy blanket in the winter time. This girl always seems to know just how to make you feel better, and is so excited to find a home where she can make everyone's life a little brighter! Bubbles gets along famously with other dogs, but as always, we require a meet and greet if you already have any in the home. She also does great with children, and is indifferent around cats. Meet Major! Major is a lovable and energetic Black and Tan Coonhound, born on March 25, 2023. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on care. He absolutely loves car rides, playing hide and seek, outdoor activities, and running. He enjoys exploring new places and would thrive in a home with plenty of space and an active lifestyle. Major is great with kids and is also a loyal protector-he makes sure no strangers enter the house by barking until we calm him down. At the same time, he's a big cuddle bug and loves playing together. Unfortunately, due to my busy schedule and the fact that we're moving soon, I can no longer provide him with the time and attention he deserves. He needs a home where he will have companionship, playtime, and plenty of love. If you think you can give Major a great home, please reach out! He's an amazing companion who will bring love, fun, and security to your family.
