This sweet black and tan coonhound wandered up near Talala just days before Thanksgiving- hungry, scared, and hoping someone might notice her. In only two days, she's shown how gentle and friendly she really is. She happily greets new people, does well with an 11 year old child, is friendly with other dogs, but has made it clear she's not looking to befriend chickens. She even sits politely and comes when called, which is pretty adorable for a little stray who hasn't had much guidance.

Fostered Location: Carbondale, CO Addie is a sweet, tall hound girl who's shy and cautious at first but full of enough curiosity to want to get past it. She's had a rough start ending up in a dog pound in MO, but she's beginning to come out of her shell- she loves running and playing when she feels brave, ESPECIALLY with other hounds!! Addie would do best in a calm, patient home, ideally with another dog to help her gain confidence. She'll need a family who can give her support and reassurance so she can feel safe enough to relax, have fun, and start learning what it's like to be a puppy. If you're ready to help a shy but sweet dog feel loved, Addie is ready to meet you!

Athletic, strong, and playful, Bonnie loves fetch, knows an incredible list of tricks, and is eager to learn more, especially if treats are involved.  While she is confident and easygoing in familiar environments, Bonnie can be nervous in busy or noisy settings and needs a patient, understanding adopter who will help her continue building confidence at her own pace.  She is gentle, affectionate, crate-trained, non-destructive, wonderful with handling and grooming, friendly with other dogs, and deeply loyal to her people.
