Story
Meet Slim!Age: 7 yearsBreed: Black and Tan HoundArrived: April 2024Slim is a gentle and sweet hound dog who’s looking for a calm and loving home ??. Although he’s been on behavior medication and initially fearful in his kennel, Slim is much happier and more relaxed when he’s outside of it.Personality:Gentle and Social: In playgroups, Slim is gentle and dainty. He’s social but usually prefers to keep to himself.Leash Skills: Slim pulls on the leash during walks and prefers not to take breaks. He shows curiosity about his surroundings but does not chase wildlife. Not Treat Motivated: Slim is not very interested in treats, so positive reinforcement may need to focus on other rewards or methods.Basic Commands: He knows basic commands like stay and come.Behavior in the Kennel:Fearful: Slim is fearful in his kennel and takes medication for his behavior. He has become less fearful over time but is much happier when he is out of the kennel.Looking For:Slim would do best in a home where he can feel safe and relaxed. A calm environment with understanding and patient owners who can help him continue to build confidence will be ideal. He’s a sweet companion who will thrive with a loving family who can provide him with the comfort he needs.

Story
My pet's name is Koda. He is a hound dog. He is 3 years old. He likes to sleep all day. He rarely barks. He has separation anxiety, so when you try to leave he will try to bark. I am looking for someone to take care of my dog since I have lost my job and have no source of income to take him to the vet.
