Beau is a fun-loving boy that will need a guardian that will be patient with him while he learns the ropes of living in a home. Beau came from a shelter in Texas where he lived with his brother, Boris, for several months before being brought to HSBV. A routine he can count on will be key to his success. Beau is a goofy, playful guy that also very much enjoys cuddles when he`s all tuckered out. Many things will be new to him, so introducing him slowly to new experiences with lots of positive reinforcement will go a long way towards getting him settled in. If you want a total pal that will keep you laughing and warm at night, Beau would be a great fit!

Ace is a young hound mix under a year old with a calm, thoughtful personality and just the right balance of adventure and downtime. He enjoys exploring the woods, sniffing around trails, and hanging out near the water, but he is not nonstop hyper or chaotic. After some fun and activity, he settles down nicely. Ace is great with other dogs and with cats. He can be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he feels safe, he becomes incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loyal. He is the kind of dog who forms real bonds instead of instantly demanding attention from everyone he meets. He would do great with someone who wants an active companion for walks, exploring, road trips, or outdoor time, while still wanting a dog that can relax and coexist peacefully at home afterward. Currently in Oklahoma but can be adopted to approved out-of-state homes via transport. If an adoption does not work out (rare, but life happens), I always take my dogs back. Fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested). Adoption fee: $450 (includes transport and vetting).
