Birman kittens & cats in Hayden, Idaho

Whiskerette was abandoned by my downstairs tenant when he disappeared two years ago. We've been taking care of her since then. She was spayed and had received her shots at that point. She loves playing with (and chasing after) her toys but hates being petted or touched. We were told she was mistreated as a kitten by a family with a toddler. She has a special distrust for little kids and isn't safe for children. Crowds definitely scare her too. Hissing is a daily habit for her, be it from someone stepping too close or trying to pet her too much, getting in fights with our other cat Thor which she often instigates, or being told to move when she's blocking a walking path. She did take care of our mice problem as soon as we got her. She loves chasing toys, using her scratchpad lookout tower, or sleeping in her little castle. We're happy to provide these things with her favorite toys. She needs a loving home and we're moving very soon.
