Birman kittens & cats in Coeur D Alene, Idaho

Whiskerette was abandoned by my downstairs tenant when he disappeared two years ago. We've been taking care of her since then. She was spayed and had received her shots at that point. She loves playing with (and chasing after) her toys but usually dislikes being petted or touched. We were told that as a kitten she was mistreated by a toddler. She has a special distrust for little kids and isn't safe for children. Crowds definitely scare her too. Though she is playful when you use her toys, she needs space more than most cats and feels easily threatened by anyone stepping too close or petting down at her. She may hiss at you if you break her personal space but also forgives quickly. She took care of our mice problem as soon as we got her. She loves chasing toys, using her scratchpad lookout tower, or sleeping in her little castle. We're happy to provide these things with her favorite toys. She needs a loving home and we're moving very soon.
