Story
Kai Kekoa is a 'sea warrior' that's never been near the sea.  In fact, he was found all by himself in a field at less than one pound.  And boy is he your next Instagram-worthy star!  First, he's a charmer with those golden sunset eyes and black fur...with little tufts of silver-grey at his back end and tummy.  His tail gives major floof factor, too! He can give you the big doe eyes or his 'grumpy kitty' face---it's all show. And his eyes seem to change in the light with varying golden hues. His shenanigans crack up his foster.  He likes to play and explore all through the house and loves to be spoiled with pets and love.  This STELLAR actor also goes wild for his foster's human food--crying, meowing, frantically angling left and right to get at her plate..and the dogs' food...and the shared wet and dry food with the kitties.  He's a confident beauty who knows what he wants.  He gets along with all the kitties and dogs in the house just fine.  His best home would involve older kids and people who will roll their eyes and laugh at his antics and his robust play style.  When it's nap time, this actor goes Charmer-5,000KW and purrs, snuggles and butts his head on your hand.  Bedtime comes around and he snuggles up against his foster and purrs the night away.  Come morning, you'll wake to him laying on your chest for prime pets.  Approx. 7 months September '24.  Adoption fee $300 Currently in a foster home, you can set up a day to come meet this kitty (on Saturdays during adoption event hours). Please give us at least a week's notice via wtfnapa@gmail.com or (707) 258-2287 so our volunteers have time to answer messages and get back to you. Thank you!  Cats/kittens come spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and more with an adoption fee/donation to Whiskers, Tails and Ferals in Napa, CA. Story
I was given my cat to adopt a friend of mine. The first time I saw her, I knew she would be the one for me. She's very playful, cute, comfortable around people when she gets to know them, and very gentle. She wants nothing but cuddles and pets, and she loves small cat toys she can bat and chase after

These pups are in Davis, California too!

Story
Omelet and Oatmeal MUST be adopted together. There are NO exceptions. These kittens are Katya's kids known as "The Breakfast Kittens". Katya is the amazing Russian Maine Coon mom you can see posted here. Answering the call of Mother Nature she escaped out and got pregnant. Her human mom said No No No and No! and left the whole young family at the local shelter. They were offered to me and I couldn't say YES! fast enough. I was lucky enough to foster eight Russian Maine Coons some years back and knew immediately what I was seeing. I am definitely a fan of outrageous ear tufts. Katya's five kittens are wonderful. They have her intelligence and her Maine Coon playful personality. They are very beautiful kittens though none have their mom's lush long coat. They are active, loving, curious mischievous kittens, four girls, and one boy. We have divided them into pairs to go home: Silver Dollar Pancake will go home with Granola, Omelet with Oatmeal, and Dimitri Pumpernickel, the boy, will go home separately. Omelet and Oatmeal are very compatible sisters, confident, active, and affectionate. Smart, curious athletes, they are both very comfortable in a human's arms. Omelet who has the red ( yolk ) on her head turns herself upside down in order to put her head in your hand. All the time. She loves that. She is maybe even a little more adventurous and extroverted than her sister. You will hear the patter of their little feet thundering down your hallways. These two are born to play. Oatmeal has dramatic black stripes and leg banding. She also has the biggest ear tufts of the litter and those tufts have been growing recently. The Maine Coon genes from their mom will keep these kids growing and changing til they are well over three years. They are a work in progress. Oatmeal matches her sister's energy and is so friendly she will probably run to greet guests visiting your home. They both love attention. This litter has grown up being around other cats. Silver Dollar is the only alpha cat of the litter. The male, Dimitri ( Pumpernickel) is the biggest, with an endless tail, the most laid back and gentle. They are all smart, social, curious, beautiful little companions. These kitties are good family cats. They would be fine with most respectful children and would probably have a ball playing with friendly dogs. Their photos may show them at slightly different ages. Their colors and coat patterns are still developing. Some family will be so lucky to have their loving company. Omelet is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She is fostered by Harriet in Santa Cruz. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats with qualified adopters who will cherish their pet and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you are the perfect adopter for Omelet (and Oatmeal) please tell us why in the comments section of our Adoption Application, and contact Harriet at harrietluvskitties@yahoo.com If you are unable to reach Harriet please email us at info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
