Story
Sparkler (Sparky to his friends) is an 8'ish-year old, 15-pound Bichon.  Sparky is looking for a forever home with his best girl, Starla.   Sparky is a charming little fellow who is adjusting quite well to life outside the puppy mill.  He loves to play with toys and other dogs.  He zips around the yard with such exuberance.  He will throw himself into his foster mom's lap for snuggles when the mood strikes.  Foster mom now understands why people love Bichons so much. Sparky and Starla clearly adore each other and enjoy playing together (Check out a cute video of them here)! They take a little bit to warm up to new people, but when they do, it is all goodness!  Their ideal home is in the suburbs with a securely fenced yard.  They both do well with other dogs.  Having another dog in their forever home would be a bonus!  Children make them nervous, so teenagers and older is preferred. Sparky is in good health!  He is missing all of his teeth, so his tongue hangs out to the left of his mouth.  No worries - he still eats kibble.  He is darling!!!  To learn more about Starla and Sparkler, please email adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 19, 2024, 11:21 am

Story
Starla is ready to be the star at YOUR home!  Starla is a 6'ish-year-old, 15-pound beautiful Bichon.  Starla is looking for a forever home with her best friend, Sparkler!   Starla is a sweet girl who is loving life outside of the puppy mill.  She enjoys napping in sunshine and rolling in grass.  She looks forward to her evening snuggle time on the sofa, and she'll let her foster mom know if the routine is being broken.  Starla has a fun, sweet personality, especially when she is with her bestie Sparkler.  They both clearly love each other and enjoy playing together (Check out a cute video of them here)! They can take a little bit to warm up to new people, but when they do they are super sweet and adorable. Their ideal home is in the suburbs with a securely fenced yard.  They both do very well with other dogs.  Having another dog in their forever home to show them the ropes would be a bonus!  Children make them nervous, so teenagers and older is preferred. Starla is in excellent health.  To learn more about Starla and Sparkler, please email adoptme@cockerspanielrescue.com.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 19, 2024, 8:32 pm

Story
Teddy was abandoned by a co-worker and taken in with much love and training he is the most loving, cuddly, happy, well trained, responsive dog ever! He will great you with the happiness of a million smiles with such joy every time you open the door. He is a hugger and wants hugs and cuddles whenever he misses you. He is the moves loving dog and the happiest you'll ever meet! He will guard your home and bark if anyone tries to come into your home at odd hours. He loves to run and chase squirrels and birds. He knows both those words and listens so well to commands. It breaks our hearts to rehome him but we live in a building and had a baby and arn't able to give him the time and love he deserves. He is the perfect size to travel with but is big enough to protect you. We take him on car rides all the time. He loves soft foods and just be in your presence. Looking for someone who maybe works at home and could use a happy loving companion, that is outdoorsy and loves to go on walks
