Hi, I'm Dax and I am a 5 month old male Bichon. I came to Zoe's House from a commercial breeder when I became too old to sell. I am very playful but I am still a bit nervous when the foster people try to pet me. I want attention and love. I just am not used to it yet. I love playing with the other dogs here running around and chasing each other. I am crate trained and see my crate as a safe place since I sleep and eat in my crate. I run right into it on my own. I am working on housebreaking as this is all new to me. I need a family who will be patient with me as I continue to grow and learn how to be a puppy. I do like to jump up on people when I'm excited. So, no very small children for me. Kids over 4 should be fine. I require a fenced in yard since I love to run and jump and another dog in the home to play with so that I can keep learning about being in a house and how to be a dog. I am up to date on vaccines and am neutered already. I am being fostered in Schuylkill County so any potential adopters will have to travel to meet me. She is slowly adjusting to her new surroundings and will need a patient adopter to help her learn that the world can be a safe and loving place. - Still nervous about being picked up but gaining confidence and spending more time closer to the family as she settles into her foster home. - Handled meeting family members very well- was calm and accepted gentle pets when she was allowed to approach at her own pace. - Accepting treats from hands, which is great progress! - Starting to explore her foster home and find new places to snooze. - She LOVES napping in fuzzy blankets and snuggling with her lambchop toy.- Quiet and reserved but has a very gentle, loving spirit. - Low energy but gets excited around meal times, doing a little "dance" before her food is set down!- Working on crate training. Gets excited to see her crate, which is kept in the bedroom for more human interaction.- Currently working on housetraining and will require continued, consistent housetraining habits to establish a good routine. Milo is a hyper-active dog that lOVES attention. He is best fit for a youth/teenager to keep up with his energy. Milo is a very happy and kind dog but is sensitive to change and new environments. He was also raised with his parents, and is somewhat potty trained but needs a little more training. Milo does occasionally have reverse sneezing when he gets a little too excited, but it’s normal.
