George and Gracie are around 9 years old. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. ***There are no exceptions to this*** George & Gracie are two of the sweetest babies you will ever meet. George is a 12lb bichon and Gracie is an adorable 7.5lb miniature poodle. Gracie has one dry eye and will require two prescription eyedrops, in addition to over the counter eyedrops. George lost his teeth, but LOVES squeaky toys! Gracie’s specialty is keeping your lap warm, she’s a very big snuggler. If she’s not next to you, she will be found next to George. These two are very special and they deserve to be in a home where they are loved, because they will return that love many times over. Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old. They are located in OK. Small Paws Rescue, as always, is committed to rescuing Bichons and placing them in loving homes. Story
Toby is a darling 4-year-old male who came from a puppy mill. If possible, the new family should have experience with puppy mill dogs. Weighing about 18 lbs., he is a cautious little guy. He loves playing outside and hanging out with his foster brothers and sisters. He loves running the yard, chasing squirrels, or running the fence line with the neighbor's dogs. Though he walks quite well on a leash, he may be slow to warm with people. He attaches to other dogs more quickly than to people. He will need a patient home. He is currently living with four other dogs, and he must have another dog in residence. Because he has never been around children with sudden movements and noises, he needs a quiet adult home. Some of his favorite things include chewing on dog bones, sitting on his dog bed monitoring the activity around him and being outside. He has just begun to show interest in toys. He is crate trained and is still working on house training. Toby is very routine oriented and needs adjustment time when a change occurs. Once he warms up, he can be a sweet boy. He must have a securely fenced yard. (When frightened he will run.) His forever home will need to have a small dog already living in the home. My name is Peanut (for now but you could change it later) and I really am a little Peanut! I am thought to be at least part Coton de Tulear but don’t let that fancy name fool you - I am a little goofball. I’m a little boy, about 10 pounds and all energy. I'm about 3 years old. I love playing with (and annoying) my housemates – both the 4 legged and 2 legged ones. I am a very “in your face” little boy and that’s pretty much where I will be every time you sit down. If I’m not annoying my housemates I will be in your lap and in your face. I love to give kisses and love any attention I can get. I’m pretty good about doing my business outside but sometimes I forget. I’m trying. I will sleep on you or next to you every night. I’m one very happy little boy and need someone to make happy too. He will need another small young dog already living in the home chosen for him. Hi folks! My name is Sailor and I am a sweet, loving, medium energy pup. I am approximately 4 years old and weigh about 17 pounds. I have a beautiful, silky, soft coat that is wonderful to pet. I get so excited when I go for walks with my foster mom. When we walk my little legs fly down the street and I must sniff everything. After we walk, I love sitting on my foster mom’s lap. While on her lap she gives me belly rubs that are the best! I am a dog that loves human attention. When we are at home I am almost always in the same room with my foster mom. I like to sit next to her, sleep on the floor next to her, and sleep near her on the bed. I like children and I like to play with my two kittens. Other good qualities about me include being almost 99% house trained. The occasional accident is because my foster mom lets me go too long in between walks (I am good up to about 4 hours) or because I have not yet learned a doggie signal for when I want to go outside. I have a great appetite and am not too fussy about what I eat. I will bark when I hear noises outside, but I am not a constant barker. When my foster mom and I go for a walk I am cautious when I meet new dogs. I like some dogs, am indifferent to others, and there are some that do not like me and I do not like them. My foster mom lets me meet new dogs slowly. My foster mom says I am a little guy with a big heart. Please know that when I find my forever person and home I will try my best to be a great dog and my big heart will love you forever. He will need another dog in the home or someone that is home most of the time. Children in the home need to be at least 10 years old.
