Meet Lucy Lou! Lucy Lou is a 6-yr-old, 12lb. female Bichon Frise who is full of curiosity and hopefulness as she awaits her new forever home. She is overcoming her bad haircut and her past as a puppy mill mama and loves to be with people who will cuddle her and love on her. She likes to nestle her head in the crook of your neck and will stay there all day if you let her! She likes being in the grass and would do well in a fenced yard. We are still working on potty training but it’s coming along nicely. She pees and poos in the backyard when let out but still has the occasional accident in the house. She is very comfortable with her furry foster sisters but does not yet really play with them as she is still figuring out what it means to be a dog. She is good with men but has not been around cats yet. She is crate trained but enjoys the freedom of an open door to come and go as she pleases so she can follow her foster mom around the house. She is nervous around new things and needs a home where there is a lot of patience, love and a quieter environment. Some of her favorite things are curling up on her comfy pillow next to her foster mom on the couch, apple treats, eggs, and having her blanket nearby.
