Story
✅️Currently located in South Korea✅️ Meet QQ❤️ QQ was rescued from an illegal breeding facility in South Korea, where she lived in a cramped cage with accumulated waste and fur beneath, making standing painful and emitting strong ammonia fumes. She is now adapting to everyday life and is expected to become healthier and happier soon! * Interaction with People: Loves people a lot but initially fears strangers, especially men. Takes time to warm up, but once getting comfortable, she follows around, wags her tail, and likes to be by your side. She gives lots of kisses as a way of saying I love you! * Interaction with Dogs: Shows little interest in other dogs and enjoys spending time alone. Feels uncomfortable with overly aggressive doggy friends! Tends to display her emotion by look to familiar dogs. * Interaction with Cats: Is indifferent to cats and passes by them without much interest. * Separation Anxiety: Has Minimal separation anxiety. Scratches the door when the dog he lives with goes out, but she sleeps and does well alone when the family is out. * Potty Training: Prefers to use indoor potty and is proficient with using pads. Occasionally confuses blankets with her potty spot but is getting training. Does well with outdoor potty during walks. * Hygiene: Cooperates well during baths. Nail trimming can be frightening and cause some fuss, but she stays calm. Is also good with brushing and drying. Feels uncomfortable with scissors on her face. * Walking: Enjoys slow walks, but tends to pull the leash in the direction she wants to go. * Car Sickness: Travels well in the car without any signs of motion sickness. * Is very gentle with no biting, even when touched or petted by strangers. * May bark softly when guests come into the house. * Is afraid of sudden sounds or movements and isn't used to being picked up or put on your lap. * Has allergies and is on an allergy diet. ** Health Status ** - Scaling done, two teeth extracted - Due to periodontitis, her gums have receded, causing instability in her teeth. This prevents her from eating hard food, and she needs to be fed with soft kibble and snacks. - Has an eye injury but no vision impairment. 💙 Foster's Instagram: @co7mo3

Story
Hi, I’m Martha! I’m a 5-year-old, 10-pound Bichon with a an incredibly sweet nature. I may be a little shy at first, but once I feel safe, my gentle personality shines through. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy their company. I’ll need a patient adopter who understands that I need time to build trust. I get along well with other dogs and enjoy their company. I also love exploring new spaces (even if I still need some help with house training—oops!), and I’m always curious about my surroundings. I was a perfect angel for my bath, and while I may be a bit reserved at first, I promise I have so much love to give. A calm, understanding home without young kids would be best for me as I continue to gain confidence. If you’re looking for a sweet, curious little companion who just needs a bit of patience and love, I might be the perfect match for you! Thank you so much for your interest in adopting a dog from A New Chance Animal Rescue (https://anewchancear.org). We are a 501c3, tax deductible organization. ANCAR is a foster-based rescue, and we adopt within a 90 mile radius of Bedford Hills, NY. You will find the adoption application here: (https://anewchancear.org/adopt/adoption-application/). All fields on the application must be completed. Please read about the adoption process (https://www.anewchancear.org/adopt/our-adoption-process/) so you'll know what to expect when you submit. Our dogs are in foster care and we do NOT have a shelter or boarding facility. AN APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL AND APPROVED BEFORE A DOG CAN BE MET. This is a firm policy. Our busy volunteers are not able to respond to questions about the dog or dog meeting requests in the absence of an application. We know these dogs very well because they are in foster care. Please read the profiles of the dog(s) you are interested in prior to submitting an application. If there are specific requirements stated (ie: Fenced Yard or Canine Friend Required) these are included because they are vital to the happiness, health, safety and adoption success of that dog. We are only able to save as many dogs as we have foster homes (https://www.anewchancear.org/foster/faqs/) and resources for. We provide medical care including vaccinations, testing, deworming, spaying/neutering and microchipping before transporting our dogs. We provide all supplies, preventatives and any follow up vet care necessary while they are in foster care. These costs are high and the number of lives we can save is entirely dependent upon donations from people like you. We do not receive funding from private foundations or government sources. If you can find room in your heart to help us, with any amount, we are truly grateful (https://www.anewchancear.org/help/donate/). We are a 501c3 organization, so all donations are tax-deductible. It is only through the kindness of supporters like you that we are 'changing lives...one tail at a time' by providing our dogs with 'A New Chance.' (https://anewchancear.org) Thanks so much.

Story
Meet Kinski, the 5-year-old Bichon Frise who’s a delight of endless kisses and sweet affection! Rescued from the infamous Busan Puppy Mill last October, Kinski was discovered with one eye missing from the trauma he endured. Now he's here in NYC, and this sweet pup is ready to find his forever home. Kinski has a knack for turning everyday moments into something special. He’s got a playful, inquisitive nature—he is a little collector, happily gathering socks and leggings and walking proud with his new finds! He’s also a big fan of giving kisses and follows his foster mom, always with a bright, happy demeanor. You would never know he has one eye it doesn't affect his pep and zest for toys. This isn’t just a cute face; Kinski is a well-adjusted, easygoing dog. He’s patient in his crate, entertains himself with toys, and is doing great with his training, both indoors and out. He takes new encounters in stride, staying calm and curious when people stop to say hello. And yes, he has his favorite things: bully sticks and cottage cheese with blueberries are definite hits. More than anything, Kinski is a loyal companion. He’s a dog who finds joy in simple pleasures and shares that joy freely. Open your heart, and let Kinski show you what it truly means to be loved. Story
Hi there, I'm Oatmeal Peachy, an affectionate and friendly pooch. Even though I might be a bit shy at first, you'll soon find out that I'm a loving companion who just wants to play tug of war, get plenty of pets, and maybe even a game of throw or two. I am a mature lady, and I've learned a thing or two in my life, so I'm house-trained, I'm well-behaved, and know basic commands. I do well with other dogs, too! So, if you're looking for a sweet, smart, and affectionate companion, I'm the one for you! I'm always up for an adventure, even if it's just a walk around the block, I'd love to snuggle up with you on the couch, too. If you're looking for a best friend and a fur baby, adopt me, Oatmeal Peachy, today! I can't wait to find my furever home and give you lots of kisses! Interested in becoming a forever home for Oatmeal? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and appreciate you working with us.For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!

Story
Chloe (age 12) and Zoe (age 5) are a bonded Mother / Daughter pair. They MUST be adopted together and KEPT together for life. Both very sweet and loving. Love to cuddle. Sleep well through the night. Potty trained. Good at groomers. If they are downstairs and I am upstairs they will bark until I go down to get them. Initially they both went up and down the stairs without any issues.. but the fosters stairs are wood so now they are hesitant. (They must have slipped) but stairs with rugs or non-slip runners should be ok for them Chloe, the mom still is a bit territorial.. and will growl at the fosters teen daughter, so we recommend no young children. Chloe will even growl at Zoe if she for instance jumps on her accidentally but she has never bitten or anyone or snapped .. just the growling and letting someone know she is not comfortable. Both get along fine with the fosters dogs, however they can be dominant and compete for their owner's attention so it would be better for them to be the only 2 dogs in the house. It is not mandatory... but just preferable. Chloe is more laid back and keeps more to herself, relaxing and sleeping. Zoe is a bundle of fun and playfulness. She love to play with humans, toys other dogs ... anyone! They are UTD on vaccines and vet checked and healthy. We had both of them spayed last month and Zoe had a dental as well. They are good alone during the day.. the foster can watch them on her camera when she is out and they just chill in their beds. If you are interested in adopting these two little girls, please fill out our application at this link: https://bichonrescuenj.com/bichon-frise-rescue-nnj-adoption-app.html If you have already filled out an app on OUR Website (Not petfinder or other rescue sites) Then you can email us from the email you used in your app and we will look it up. Email us at: NNJBichonRescue@Yahoo.com They are currently fostered in South Eastern NJ so we are taking apps from NJ, NY, Western PA, DE, and Northern MD. You must be willing to Drive to NJ to pick them up so no one that lives more than 2-3 hours drive from South Jersey.
