We review each application and do our absolute best in choosing a home that best suits each dog and his/her needs and personality. This is Iris, she is special needs as she has lung disease. Iris is currently on an inhaler twice a day. Iris was born in a breeding facility with poor ventilation, the fumes she breathed in damaged her lungs. Iris is 5 years old, potty pad trained, up to date on vaccines and spayed. She likes attention, she is a toy HORDER and LOVES to sleep with your dirty sock or slipper. She wants your smell close to her. Iris is learning how to be a dog, how to trust people and what the good life is. Story
Halo has lead a very sheltered life so far. He's been with kids but really attaches to adults the best. He needs a quiet home that is going to have the time and energy to focus on him, socializing him and having a great amount of exercise daily. This is what we are looking for, for him. Smoke free house with a fenced yard. Active person who has the need for a bestie and is pretty social and active. Someone who is either a couple or works from home. No apartments or manufactured home neighborhoods. He is playful, but guarded and that should subside with a steady home. He's not had enough exposure as he was in a crate ten hours a day and he does heavily attach to his people. He's good around kids, babies or toddlers not so much. Older kids are perfect for him. No kids is even more perfect for him. He likes certain other dogs. He's 18 pounds and cute as a button.
