Meet Slushy! A 5 year old Bichon Frise. She is a bit shy but loves pets and ear scratches! She is not sure about toys yet but watches the other animals play with curiosity. Slushy is good with cats and other dogs. She is a quiet observer as of now. Slushy has been great about pottying outside and has not had a single accident. I believe that she will be a loyal by your side dog with her new human as she is already following her foster everywhere! Slushy would be good with a fenced yard although not completely necessary with this one with the proper tie out. Her paws do get sore quickly in cold weather, and she doesn’t register that she should come in. Her foster has had to go out and rescue her. Her foster also thinks she would be good with well behaved children as she is very docile. She would probably also love to have another doggy friend. Is Slushy the girl for you?

Story
Dexter is a sweet and affectionate Bichon Frise, born in 2018. He is in excellent health with no issues and has a beautiful, hypoallergenic coat. Dexter loves playing outside, soaking up attention, and getting belly rubs, but he is just as happy lounging around and relaxing by your side. While he is an excellent companion, our growing family has made it difficult to give him the time and attention he deserves. He would do best in a home without young children, preferring a calm environment. To help him adjust, he is currently on a mild anti-anxiety medication. Overall, Dexter is relatively low-maintenance and a loving, loyal companion. We want to find him a home where he can be truly cherished and given the attention he deserves. We have no timeline for finding Dexter the proper home.

Story
Max's previous owner passed away and unfortunately the family could not take him. He is currently at a foster home with another small dog and doing very well. Max is a very happy, quiet, calm dog that doesn't have a mean bone in his body and deserves to find a new family to love. Max is good with other dogs, loves people, loves attention and loves to play with little dogs and does not shed. He enjoys going on walks but he's also content with just relaxing at home with his foster parents. Max likes kids but gets startled by a lot of loud noises so older kids would be a better fit. His best fit would be a senior or someone who works from home to enjoy his companionship. He sleeps through the night. He’s just a great little guy. Even though Max is a mellow guy, when his foster parents come home he does the cutest bunny hop because he's so happy to see them. We think he is approximately 9 years old.
