Cutie Pie came to FARM in need of a forever home. She is a 7 year old, 16 pound spayed female Shihtzu/Poodle mix. Cutie Pie loves to go for walks, does great with dogs and cats, and loves to sit in your lap. She will need an experienced owner who has the time and patience to continue to socialize her and help her gain confidence when meeting new people and encountering new situations. She is not appropriate for children, and would do best in a quiet adult-only home. In addition to socialization, Cutie Pie needs work on her housebreaking skills. This little girl is a sweetheart and has so much love to give. Meet and greets for approved adopters will be by appointment. Sugar is a very sweet senior dog. I have had sugar about 4 years I acquired her from my brother who is now in a nursing home. Recently my dog passed away and now sugar is by herself and is having a terrible time with being alone. She barks when she is left alone. She needs to be with someone who is home a lot or has other pets at home. Because of her age I do not feel like she would do well with a puppy. She is very good with kids as long as they are not too aggressive with her. Sugar does not have a mean bone in her body. She just loves being with someone. She is blind in one eye but that does not stop her she is still very spunky and her health is great. I think she would do best with someone or a family that is home a lot and perhaps have another calm dog at home to keep her company.

Popcorn is about 18 lbs., 14 years old and according to Google lens, a West highland terrier. Animal Care Services thought he was a Maltese mix and foster mom thinks he could be a Schnauzer/Maltese mix but knows for sure that he is the cutest scruffy EVER!!! His journey hasn't been all snuggles and treats as he lived on someone's apartment patio for years, lying in poop, grass and other debris until Animal Care Services came for him and God's Dogs Rescue was able to save the little scamp. While he still loves his humans, other gentle pups his size (cats unknown) and his squishy toys and chewy, understandably he has a few emotional scars especially regarding vet visits and grooming. Slow, patient progress in these areas has helped him be more confident, but will need a patient adopter to help him adapt. Things that make Popcorn super happy are spending time with his humans after he gets to know them, car rides and walks in the park. He loves, loves his squishy toys and generally carries one around with him. His most favorite game is for his person to chase him and pretend to take his squishy away. He also like to run zooms and if there isn't a person to play with he will often throw his toys for himself. Doesn't that just make you want to throw his stuffies so he can play?? He's a healthy guy for his age with just a few old man issues (beginnings of cataracts) that he takes supplements for and should continue taking. His liver enzymes were high when tested but he is on a med to help them normalize. Can you give this boy the right lap to live in?? He needs very patient/knowledgeable adopters, no children- adult only because he will bite if afraid... It is a work in progress but he is becoming the goofy boy he was meant to be while living on the nasty hot and freezing porch for most of his 14 yrs :( GIVE HIM A CHANCE!!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)

Who wants to have a loveable little dust mop looking 10 pound female maltipoo following them around and leaping into their lap when ever they get a moment to sit? You do of course!! I am a 6 year old female Maltipoo who was surrendered to animal control because I had some stones in my bladder which were easily treated once I got to Gods Dogs Rescue. But I was a very well loved pet who adored my people and was socialized very well. I ride in a car very nicely, taking a nap while I am riding shotgun with you. I am house and crate trained, and also know the doggie door so can let myself in and out to potty if you have a fenced in yard. I get along with dogs and cats of all sizes and ages, and currently live with other pets, ages 2 months to 18 years, and weights from 4 pounds to 92#. I am looking for my forever home and hoping it will be one where I have someone at home with me to keep me company! Is that with you? Local adoption fee in Texas is $350 Adoption fee with transport out of state is $600.
