Ziggy is a 3 year old bichon. He is friendly and energetic. He knows basic commands, but will need a home with a human who is home the majority of the time. He is being surrendered by his human because they are relocating and starting a new job. They no longer have time to spend with him that he needs. Located in Kissimmee Fl. He is current on all vetting. He gets along well with everyone Thank you for choosing rescue! We are volunteers with other commitments in addition to rescue. Our time is very limited. Therefore, we request a $20.00 donation through paypal in order to process and expedite your application. This shows that you are truly interested in adoption. Your application will remain on file for a year. Applications are available at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com under forms/application. Donation should be made through Paypal at www.eastcoasthumanesociety.com. We are only available by phone after you have an approved application. All pets are located in the southeast. Transport is available to the NE for an additional $300.00 transport fee. We do not adopt in MA, RI due to import laws. Residents MUST pick up in CT. All dogs over 8 months will be spayed or neutered and heartworm tested. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated,microchipped, dewormed and treated for other parasites. Please read the FAQ on our website for additional information. Adoption fees are cash or money order only. We try to find best match for each of our pets and do not adopt on first applied basis. Meet Badger, a senior dog with a heart as golden as his years. He's sweet, friendly, and cuddly, with a curious streak that belies his age. Despite his mellow demeanor, Badger is still full of life and love. He's a loyal companion who might be a bit shy at first, but give him time and he'll be your best friend. Badger is heartworm positive and has a heart condition, but it doesn't slow him down or require medication currently. He will need monitored care and future veterinary treatment, but don't let that deter you. He's a fighter who's overcome challenges, and he's got plenty of love left to give. Badger is looking for a loving home where he can spend his golden years. He may be a senior, but his spirit is timeless. Adopt Badger and gain a loyal, loving friend who will cherish every moment with you. Badger is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until he has completed his treatments and is fully recovered, Badger is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area; He must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. Badger weighs 10lbs., is approximately 12 years old (est. birth date 11/12/2017), and his adoption fee is $175. Badger has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped.
