With her beautiful white curls and expressive eyes, she carries an elegance that makes her even more special.While she’s still unsure about new people and prefers to keep her distance, Anita is making small steps forward every day. She gets along well with other dogs and finds comfort in their presence. Her foster family is giving her the patience and understanding she needs to go at her own pace.Anita’s favorite things? Mealtime, her bedtime lamb-filled bone, and lounging like a sphynx while enjoying her favorite chews. She may take time to fully come out of her shell, but for the right person willing to give her the love she deserves, she will be an incredibly special companion.- - - - -Before being rescued, many of our dogs have had limited socialization, so they may need a bit of time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog`s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
