Story
My mother recently passed away, and we’re trying to find a loving home for her beloved **11-year-old Shih Tzu, Zoe**. Zoe was my mom’s constant companion, and finding the right person for her would mean so much to our family. Zoe is a very sweet, affectionate little dog who loves being close to her person. She’s about **16 pounds (a little round from mom’s spoiling)** and very **food-motivated**. She has **glaucoma and chronic dry eye**, so she needs eye drops and ointment three times a day (a mix of over-the-counter and vet-prescribed medications), plus **Galliprant** for eye pain. Her medications average about **$96 every couple of months**. Because my mom was house-bound, Zoe is **puppy-pad trained**, but she’s smart and will signal when she wants to go outside. Zoe also has a big personality for a little dog: • She snores like she needs a tiny “C-Pup” 😄 • She purrs like a happy pig when you pet her • She snorts like a little truffle pig when hunting for treats 🐷
