Story
I adopted Joey in May 2023. He was in a home where he was neglected and abused. Poor guy did not know what nice touch was. He has become a sweet guy. Full of energy and love. He is insecure, so loves to get attention. He is a snuggler; likes to be close to his person. Joey sleeps on the bed and often under the covers. He is silly and fun. Good off-leash and loves an off-leash park. Gets along with all sizes of dogs and loves people attention. THE SELECTION OF "DOES NOT GET ALONG WITH OTHER DOG" IS NOT CORRECT. IT IS MY FIRST DOG THAT IS JEALOUS AND UPSET. Joey was not groomed previously, so is sensitive, and needs a groomer that will give him lots of breaks. He is a lot less reactive, but with a new groomer he may need to be muzzled for a while. He is sensitive about having a dirty bum cleaned; he is better in a bath than being sprayed. Bichon's are wonderful dogs; smart and good natured. He barks very little and settles down quickly when told to stop. He listens very well.
