Aspen is an 11-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog/Poodle mix who weighs about 35lbs of pure, unfiltered energy. If you’re looking for a dog who will NEVER leave your side – and we mean never – Aspen is your guy! Whether you’re cooking dinner, going for a walk, or even just sitting on the couch (he’ll probably try to climb on top of you), Aspen will be there, eyes wide, tail wagging, just waiting for the next adventure. Aspen is currently living the good life in a foster home with another young dog, and they’re having a blast together. He gets along great with other dogs and kids – though, because he’s like a turbo-charged puppy on a sugar high, we’d recommend older, sturdier kids who can keep up with his playfulness (and survive the zoomies). This guy is not the type to chill on the couch all day. He’s looking for a high-energy home where he can run, fetch, play, and probably try to help you with everything you do. He’s got jobs to do, people! If you’re an active person who needs a partner for your daily activities, Aspen is here to take your exercise routine to the next level. Aspen is house and crate trained, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and on monthly heartworm and flea preventatives. He is scheduled to be neutered on 12/26/24, so he’ll be ready for all the playdates and adventure you can throw his way. Ready to add some extra energy to your life? Apply today to bring Aspen home! Applications are the first step in the adoption process. Please do not call or email simply to express interest. We are all volunteers and receiving your application saves us time and helps to determine the best match for both people and dogs. We provide as much information as we currently have on each dog in their description. For questions on the adoption process, including fees, please review the Adoption page. If you have additional questions or are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application. Once we receive your application someone will be in touch to answer your questions. We do not arrange visits to meet dogs without an application. If you'd like to meet a variety of dogs without filling out an application please attend one of our events, listed under the events link.
