Hi!! I'm Gloria, the sweetest female Bernese Mountain Dog. I was tied out at the local humane society by a farmer and left there and Zoe's House took me in because I wasn't doing good in a shelter environment. I'm about 110 pounds and they say I'm 8 years old but my foster mom says I seem younger! I'm loving my new foster home. I get along with all the other animals (cats,dogs and guinea pig too), but I require slow introductions at my own pace. Also dogs that understand clear boundaries. I would do great as an only dog! (No dog parks or face to face meets for me). My foster mom sometimes calls me a velcro dog cause I like to be by her side (especially at dinner time). I do take some time to trust as I wasn't treated very nicely for most of my life. When I first came to foster I would cry at human touch. I have not ventured into the second level of my foster home as I prefer to stay close to my crate. I am housebroken and understand rules well. I listen when my foster mom says no but I don't really break any rules except trying to steal food . I will happily go in my crate and I love to have that safe space but my foster mom says since I'm a good girl so I can go wherever I want in the house. I didn't grow up with any toys so I don't really understand what they are. My love language is treats and meal time! I even have a cute food dance. I'm a very low energy dog. My foster family has a fenced in yard so I like to walk around and explore when it's outside time but I usually go back to lay on the porch. I don't really require long walks. But I walk very well on a leash. I can't wait to meet my forever family!! My foster mom already says I'm going to be really really hard to say goodbye to because they love me so much. Bluey and Bingo are mini bernadoodles. They are about 40lbs. Bluey is 9mos and Bingo is 1 year. These boys were not sold and then given to rescue. They were not socialized but are in a foster home that is working on that. Bluey enjoys the company of other dogs and loves to run around the back yard. He is crate trained and mostly housebroken. He would do best with a playful, confident dog in the home. Bingo is still very shy and needs a lot of encouragement and patience. He would do better with a calmer and confident dog int he home. A temporary situation became permanent and she could not handle three extra dogs. Fred & Daphne were kept outdoors in a dirty garage and not cared for very well. These two came to us in very poor condition, underweight, full of fleas, matted fur with urine and feces. Fred only weighed 57.9 lbs.on arrival. Our veterinarian, Dr. Silberman said he should weigh around 70 lbs. Once he gains at least 5lbs. he will be neutered. Fred has a very sweet mellow disposition.
