Born January 1, 2024 Our Sadie is my daughter’s dog, who she promised she would take care of, and she hasn’t, and she’s leaving earlier for college than we initially thought, starting in a few weeks. Sadie loves to play with our pointer, who is a big lug, but she loves Rocky. Bernese Mountain Dogs are one of the best friends a person could have, especially for children.

Chloe was surrendered to the shelter when her owner could no longer care for her. She is a 2-year-old, Bernese Mountain dog/poodle mix that currently weighs 53 pounds (she could stand to gain a few more pounds). Chloe was diagnosed with epilepsy and is on medication to control seizure activity. She is well maintained and has not had a seizure since her arrival at the shelter. The medication that she is on is relatively affordable, but she will need a home that can provide her with the vet care she will need to stay regulated, which may include needing regular bloodwork, medication changes in the future if she becomes no longer regulated. She will also need someone that can keep her groomed so that she does not get matted. When she arrived at the shelter Chloe had severe matting around her ears along with an ear infection. Chloe did very well getting groomed. Chloe did live with children, other dogs, and cats. Chloe is a sweet girl that would love to have a second chance at a loving forever home soon!
