Story
Hank is a 9 1/2 month old loving and good boy that is full of energy! We got Hank as an 8 week old puppy from an Amish breeder and have kept him up to date on shots, vet visits, and a flea/tick/heart worm med. He is house broken, crate trained, and usually behaves well on a leash. Hank loves to play but isn’t able to appropriately play around our young toddler. Hank likes to find things to chew on so advanced training or supervision is needed. Adopter should be able to handle a high energy dog and be able to exercise him well. As stated he is a good boy he just needs a better outlet for his energy than can be provided in our situation.

Story
Lincoln is a great dog. We got him as a puppy at 12 weeks old before my wife and I found out we were having twins and we already have a toddler. He is about a year old now and with three kids under three, he isn’t getting the time or attention he needs. Lincoln is loving, playful, and sweet. He loves playing with other dogs. He isn’t fixed so he is specifically drawn to female dogs but he is not aggressive towards them, other males, or people. He is your typical Bernese Mountain dog. Lincoln needs a loving home with another dog to play with or a loving home that can give him the attention he needs. He is crate trained but not for extended periods of time. We will miss him but it is for his best and ours as a young family.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please say hello to Beth! Beth is a Bernese Mountain Dog/ Husky Mix. She was born December 7, 2018. Prior to coming into rescue she lived her life in a small kennel inside of a barn, breeding puppies over and over. She had no name, they called her 'Dog.' Beth is learning a whole new life outside of the farm. She is playful but will need time to open up. She is scared of new things and has only lived in a barn stall her whole life. She loves being outside so will require a fenced in yard and a home with older children. Beth loves playing with other dogs so a home with another dog would be fine. But she can be an only dog. She loves playing with stuffies and will lay with them. She has never lived in a home so it will all be new. She will need patience from adopter so she can trust them. Beth will be a committed companion. Once Beth is comfortable she is good with anyone. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. If you would like to to welcome sweet Beth into your family, please apply at www.onedogatatime.us When applying to adopt through ODAAT, please know that we take pride in placing our animals appropriately based on their needs and personality. We want the best family for them and the perfect fit for your family. All applications are ran prior to choosing an adopter.. Story
Violet will be 3 in February. She is generally good with kids though she can get a little rough when playing. If she has a bone, she will resource guard with most people. She growled at our youngest son when she had a bone. My wife was attacked by a dog as a child and does not feel comfortable with the dog being around our children anymore. She is a barker. If not familiar with the breed, please research. Generally good with chickens, but will chase one from time to time. Not good with rabbits, will eat them if she has the chance. She loves being outside in all types of weather. She both loves and needs to be groomed often. Bred to be independent and will sometimes grumble at commands. Generally easy going. She currently has a fenced in acre and likes to patrol often. She does not like car rides and gets anxious in the vehicle.
