Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.January 30, 2025, 12:04 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Pizza is a beautiful, affectionate dog who loves attention and being close to his people.  He has a ton of potential but past trauma has left him unsure of new situations and new people.  He has proven in his foster home that he eventually settles in and trusts but it does take awhile and his new family will need to be patient. He needs a patient family who understands his need to retreat and adjust at his own pace.  Women and teenagers are definitely the group he trusts the quickest!    Having a confident dog sibling will really help boost his confidence.  Once he has settle in he is incredibly sweet and loyal, often seeking your approval when outdoors—it’s truly heartwarming! He enjoys cuddling, belly rubs, and will even use his nose to nudge your hand onto him for some extra comfort. Pizza also loves to snuggle up in bed with our kids and is always looking to be near someone he trusts. Pizza would not do well in an  apartment type setting  Pizza is a wonderful companion who will thrive in a calm, understanding home that gives him the time he needs to feel comfortable. Once he feels secure, his loving and cuddly personality will really shine. Click here to see a cute video of Pizza enjoying some time outside! Pizza is from a local reservation. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Novalee, a bright, energetic puppy with a playful spirit and a heart full of potential! This adventurous girl thrives in active, engaging environments and would love a home where she can enjoy plenty of outdoor activities. Novalee is a bundle of fun who adores playing outside, even in the cold and snow. She’d do well in a family that can keep her stimulated and help her burn off energy. A home with a playful, confident, older dog will be necessary to ensure that Novalee has a canine buddy to guide her and share in her adventures. Check out how much fun she has with her foster sibling in this video!  She’s still learning the ropes, so her new family should be prepared to continue her training, including house training and crate training. Novalee has been around kids and does well with them, but her enthusiasm might be a bit much for toddlers. A home with older, dog-savvy children who can match her energy and respect her boundaries would be a better fit. While Novalee may initially be shy around new people, she warms up quickly with patience and gentle encouragement, revealing her sweet, affectionate side. She’s ready to bond deeply with a family who can provide her with love, structure, and understanding. If you’re looking for an active, loyal companion with a zest for life, Novalee might be the perfect match! Are you ready to give her the loving home she deserves? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Collin is from Texas.  He was brought into rescue along with his mom and 6 siblings after being found by a Good Samaritan just struggling to stay alive.  Collin has received proper veterinary care and nutrition, and is now absolutely thriving in rescue, so it's time to find him a home of his own right here in MN.  Collin is a big-hearted, fun-loving pup who’s ready to fill your home with joy and laughter! This resilient boy has quickly adapted to indoor life and thrives in a structured routine. Collin is a social butterfly who adores people and other dogs. He’s affectionate, goofy, and incredibly intelligent—he learned to sit for treats in just 30 minutes! He’s treat-motivated (just say the word “cookie,” and he’s all ears) and loves games like fetch and tug-of-war. While he doesn’t need another dog in his future home, having a canine buddy to play and keep him company would make him happy. Collin is also completely potty trained.  I mean this sweet boy is every dog lovers dream.. Just a plug and play best friend. Collin’s perfect day includes zoomies in a fenced backyard, playing with toys, and curling up in a cozy spot to watch his humans. He’s crate-trained and willingly heads into his crate for a treat, although he’ll linger outside the playpen just in case you change your mind about putting him away. His love for his people is unmatched—he’s always ready to give hugs and soak up attention. While Collin’s gentle and loving nature makes him a wonderful family dog, his enthusiasm for life means he’s still working on a few manners, like jumping up and resisting the temptation of counters. He’d do best in a home with kids over 10 and an active household that can provide him with the exercise and training he needs to thrive.  Cats are also a big nope for this guy, as he sees them as prey.. not friends. Collin seldom barks and is remarkably well-adjusted despite his early hardships. He’ll flourish in a home with space to run, lots of love, and someone who can keep up with his playful energy. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, and fun companion who will bring a smile to your face every day, Collin might be your perfect match!
