Story
Meet Orion-a charming, sweet, and slightly shy little guy who's ready to find his perfect forever home! This cuddle bug is mostly potty trained but might have a few "marking moments indoors (which should go away soon since he just got neutered). He loves squeaky toys and will happily entertain himself (and you!) with his toy collection. Orion is a cozy couch companion, though he's still learning to share space with other male dogs. He's got a soft spot for the ladies and prefers their company, but he's respectful around smaller pups, too. A bit skittish with loud TV noises, Orion could use a quieter setting, where he'll warm up quickly and show you his snuggly side. He's leash-trained, potties on walks, and will need regular grooming to keep looking his best. Orion's still getting comfortable in his foster home, but he's already won everyone over with his sweetness. With the right family, this little heartthrob will be the ultimate loyal companion! If you think you can provide a loving home for Orion, go to the Camp Companion website, www.campcompanion.org, and fill out an application. Adoption fee: $300 plus tax. Adoption fee includes microchip, neuter, vaccinations, first in-rescue grooming, nail trim, vet checkup. Orion had a fractured tooth removed during his neuter also.

Story
Hello, my name is Odessa, and I'm a Bernedoodle X Aussie Doodle from a breeder. Initially, I may come across as shy and timid, but once I feel secure, I'll show you my true self! I enjoy walks with my foster brother and cuddling with my foster mom on the couch. A home without children (teens are okay) may suit me best as I'm quite sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements. With time, I hope to overcome these fears, but for now, I thrive in a tranquil environment where I can bond with my humans. I'm on a journey to gain confidence, which requires time and patience from my human companion. Here are some insights into my progress: - My potty training is advancing well! I'm accustomed to going while leashed, and I'm learning to signal when I need to go outside. - I'm good with a leash and enjoy walks, staying close to my foster mom unless a scent captures my curiosity. - I'm not much of a barker, so understanding my body language is crucial. I can get quite nervous, and at times, I need a serene spot to rest. An owner experienced with shy and anxious dogs would be ideal. - Crate training is new to me, and I'm still hesitant about it, but I'm learning to see the crate as a safe haven. - I haven't mastered commands like 'sit', 'wait', or 'lie down' yet, but we're working on it. I do enjoy the "touch" game. Professional training would be beneficial after adoption. To apply for adoption, please visit www.campcompanion.org. The adoption fee is $300 plus tax.

Meet Autumn, the beautiful Bernedoodle with a heart of gold! After spending her early years in a breeding facility, she's now thriving in her foster home and ready to find her forever family. Autumn may be a little shy at first, but don't let that fool you-she warms up quickly and is as sweet as can be once she feels comfortable. A few fun facts about this delightful girl: Soft beds = Heaven: Autumn has discovered the magic of cozy dog beds and LOVES snuggling up on the big bed with her foster humans. She's totally into the whole "nap game." Playtime pro: Whether it's running around in the fenced yard with her foster brothers or chasing her tail (yes, she does that), Autumn's energy is infectious. She's also a big fan of kids-what's not to love about them? Leash walks like a champ: Autumn is doing great with leash training and is excited for walks to explore the world with her new family. Stairs are no longer scary: At first, those stairs seemed a little daunting, but Autumn is now a stair-climbing pro. Nothing stands in her way! House and basic training on point: She's making excellent progress with house training and is learning basic commands, but still appreciates a little guidance to keep her on track. Autumn may be mellow and sweet, but she's also super smart, fun, and ready for new adventures! If you're looking for a loving, playful, and adorable companion, this gorgeous girl is ready to steal your heart. Her adoption fee is $300 + tax. Apply at www.campcompanion.org and give Autumn the loving home she deserves!

Story
My name is Shadow. I am a mix breed doodle, most likely a Bernese mountain dog mixed with a mini poodle. I’m 3 years old. I am very shy, I still like my food put in the kennel so I feel safe when I eat. I really like freeze dried liver or chicken treats. I'm getting better about taking them from your hand. I lived my previous life very secluded so I have had to learn all of my manners. I will wear a collar and/ or a harness now without a problem. I go out to potty on a leash and I am still unsure when it is time to hook it up. I'm getting better. I pretty much figured out potty training, but sometimes my signals aren't the best and they get missed. I started taking my meals in a kennel so I felt safe. I still eat in there but, I've gotten comfortable enough that I will drink out of the community water bowl. I really like to go visit my extended foster family, they have a fence and other younger dogs for me to watch. I don't interact with the dogs much but I really study what they are doing. Sometimes I get an upset tummy in the car. I haven't the last couple of rides so maybe I am out growing that. I love children and tolerate adults well. My foster family think I am very handsome after I got my 1st hair cut ever. I am very quiet, no barking, but if I get startled I will run as fast as I can to my safe place. Here, at my foster house that is my mom's bed. Fireworks on the 4th didn't really bother me, I'd just lift my head up off the couch and put it back down. I didn't have any toys before so I am not sure what to do with them. I also had never been on a walk, I will walk nicely on a 6ft leash, just slightly behind my foster mom. We can't go too far I start to get nervous. I am very sweet pup and will do well with patients and lots of love. Shadow is up to date on vaccines, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $400. If you are interested in adopting Shadow, please email adoptions.protectingpaws@gmail.com
