He loves attention and gets along well with other dogs, though he would also thrive as an only pet due to some resource guarding tendencies. Buddy is eager to learn and thrives when given guidance. While his recall and potty training are still works in progress, his enthusiasm and intelligence make him a quick learner with the right support. A home with a fenced-in yard would be ideal for Buddy, giving him the space he needs to run, play, and burn off his youthful energy. Because of his size and exuberance, Buddy would do best in a home with older children who can match his playful energy and understand his needs. Buddy's dream is to find a patient and loving family who can help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. While she’s got an adventurous streak, especially when it comes to snow (she loves eating it!), she’s definitely not an outdoor dog—she’s all about the cozy comforts of being a beloved indoor companion. Her instincts might say “chase” when it comes to chickens, and she might have some tension with cats (they’re just not her thing!), but with the right training and patience, she’s sure to thrive in a calm, structured home. What Athena truly wants is to be a pampered pet, loved and doted on, with no job to do—just a cozy spot to call her own and lots of belly rubs.
