Story
**Meet Mika!** Mika is a 4-month-old, 19lb Bernedoodle who is full of life and boundless energy. She bounces around the house so much that her name could have easily been Tigger! Mika is a social butterfly, making friends with all the dogs in her foster home. She’s learning how to read their signals—especially the senior dogs who aren’t as entertained by her playful antics—but she absolutely adores her furry friends. Mika is also a total sweetheart with people, soaking up every pet and snuggle she can get. As a young pup, she’s a blank slate ready to start her training, including leash walking and potty training. This lucky girl made it out of a puppy mill and into rescue, and now she’s ready for a loving home where she can grow into the perfect companion. Could that be with you? Mika is fostered in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Her adoption fee is $450.00. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.

Story
Berma Jean is an AKC registered Bernese Mountain dog. She is one year and one month old. She is energetic and loves dog toys and puzzle mats. I had a remote job which was perfect, but now I am back in the office everyday and she doesn't get the attention and adventures she deserves. She is not spayed. Will transfer AKC ownership papers to new loving parent(s). Please only inquire if you are willing to provide a loving and supportive home for her. She is still a puppy to us.

Story
Meet Katie the Bernidoodle!  She has a sweet and nurturing soul. She came from a breeder and wasn't a good fit to breed, but will make a great companion for any family. She is 1-2 years old and timid. She doesn't have an aggressive bone in her body and handles well. However, she wasn't handled much and is afraid of people. She wants to be loved so much but gets nervous at the last second. She follows me and licks my hand when my back is turned and I am loving on the other dogs. She will bond hard to the family who shows her love which I have seem beginning while she has been in my home. Katie is calm in the house but loves to play and run when she is outside. She does not currently walk on a leash but seems to be potty trained. She hasn't peed in the house, but I have a dog door she frequently uses. She LOVES dogs and would love to have a dog in her next home or at least a playmate. Katie is also good with kids and gentle with puppies. She has proper dog etiquette and socialization. Katie is not food aggressive and does not object guard. She is passive and kind. Since she doesn't walk on a leash yet and may have lived life in a kennel, a fenced yard would be the best and easiest transition for her forever family. I haven't noticed any shedding; so if she sheds it is minimal.   If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. They currently are fixed, up to date on shots, wormings, preventatives and are microchipped (with lifetime registration). Adoption fee is $215 with approved application, applications can be filled out at this link. https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/10167/generic . ##2288560##

Story
Meet Willow, a gentle 2.5-year-old Great Pyrenees weighing in at about 86 pounds, who’s ready to steal your heart! Fully microchipped, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines and preventions, Willow is a loving girl with a playful spirit. She adores chasing squirrels and birds, and while she loves a game of fetch, she might just decide to keep the ball for herself! Soft and affectionate, she delights in hugs and kisses from her humans. Although she gets a bit nervous around the iRobot and fireworks—often running inside to hide—she’s a brave and resilient girl at heart. Willow has been thriving in a lively foster home with her Golden Retriever brothers, and she’s very protective of her 4-year-old human sister while remaining curious about her 1-year-old sister. House trained and crate trained, Willow will let you know when she needs to go outside with a gentle bark. While she’s still discovering her preferences with other female dogs and isn’t a fan of cats, she’s a true treat-lover—eating treats delicately from your hand—and she even knows how to sit on command! Having completed her heartworm treatment and finishing up her crate rest, Willow’s new adopter will receive 12 months of Heartgard to keep her healthy and heartworm-free. If you’re looking for a devoted, playful, and protective companion, Willow is ready to bring love and joy to your home. Adopt Willow today and let her light up your life! $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Adoption Fee (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Valentine! ❤️ Valentine got her name because she was rescued on Valentine’s Day—a true symbol of love and second chances! She was found living in a junkyard with the help of a kind-hearted Good Samaritan, but now she’s safe, warm, and thriving. This sweet girl adores stuffed toys and belly rubs and is great with other dogs and kids. She’s a little shy at first but quickly warms up with love and patience. Valentine is learning to walk on a leash and working on potty training like a champ. Special Note: Due to her time in the junkyard, Valentine has a few hairless spots. While we’re hopeful her fur will grow back, the vet mentioned that some follicles might be permanently damaged. But that just makes her even more special! Valentine is ready for a forever home filled with love—could that be with you? Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Sugar is a super sweet name for an incredibly sweet giant white floof of a love bug. This gentle giant would rather cuddle than eat. 💕. Found as a stray with her hair matted down to the skin, she is growing out her stunning white coat and putting back on some needed weight. Great Pyrenees are renowned for being excellent family dogs, guardians of children, other pets, & livestock. Sugar is no exception. At only 1 year old, she is still goofy & playful, and not all that coordinated when she runs & puppy pounces. She is an absolute joy to have around. She would do best in a home where her people are around her most of the time as she doesn’t like to be alone. Do you have room in your heart & home for this delightful fluffy cuddler? Attributes: Great on a leash Crate trained, but doesn’t enjoy the crate A Velcro dog Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
