I’ve been with my family since I was 4 months old, but because of reasons outside our control, they made the very hard decision to help me find a new home where I can get the time and stability I deserve.I’m a happy, affectionate guy who truly loves my people. I’m friendly with humans of all sizes and although I have never lived with other dogs, I get along with them during introductions. I’m a little too curious about cats, so no feline friends for me please!! One of my favorite things in the world is being outside! I have lots of energy and would really love a home with a securely fenced yard where I can explore, play, and soak up the fresh air. I am a little strong on a leash, so I could use some leash manners training, but I would make a great companion for neighborhood strolls and outdoor adventures. I’m fully house-trained and haven’t needed a crate in years.Because I’m a Bernedoodle, I do need regular professional grooming to keep my coat healthy and comfortable. My future family should be ready for the time and cost that comes with keeping me looking and feeling my best.If you’re looking for a loving, outdoorsy, loyal companion with a big heart (and big fluffy hugs!), I might just be your perfect match. Hi! I am Noah. I am a 3-4 ish year old male Bernese mountain dog. I went to ForGood rescue after being found as a stray in central Illinois. I was SUPER skinny, - like sack of bones skinny but my foster family has given me lots of good food and I am getting heavier every day. I love to get all the snuggles, am potty trained and am so good in the backyard! I am good in the house- I dont need to be crated, but keep a watchful eye on me cuz o might steel a sock!! I juts cant help myself! I love to play with doggies, but am a little too assertive with cats. My foster mommy tells me that I would do best in a home that has lots of love to give me, is home more often than not, has a big backyard for me to run around in and doesnt have cats or small kids (I love kids its just that I just dont know my strength sometimes and maybe I think Im a lap dog). Speaking of laps - I would love to lay in one all day. I promise Im just a happy go lucky guy who needs my forever family!!! One minute she’s making you laugh with her clumsy zoomies, and the next she’s leaning into you for the sweetest cuddles. She does like to talk—barking and whining to communicate—so she’ll do best with a family that understands she’s still learning and can give her patience as she continues to grow in confidence. She’s doing great on leash walks and enjoys getting out and exploring. Misty is an 8 yr old 68 lb great pyr/lab mix and through no fault of her own, the only family she has known since she was a puppy can no longer care for her. We need to find her a foster/foster to adopt home as soon as possible. Misty does great with cats and with other dogs. She is 8 so she would appreciate a dog who respects her space and would be content to just be there (vs one who wants to play all the time).
